Anyone else having a huge jump in deja vu lately? Im used to getting it maybe once or twice in a months time now it seems like its two or three times a day now, just curious to see if anyone else is experiencing this.

( too bad it's not useful deja vu like lottery numbers or something
)

For the last bunch of years, I have had deja vu quite often. I'll meet someone for the first time, and swear Ive met them before, or been places that I know Ive never been, and strongly feel that I had been there prior.

In addition to that, Ive also had ALOT of experiences where someone will come up to me out of the blue and ask me if Im so-and-so. I say no, and they say, you look just like this guy I know..... I guess is probably normal to have that happen every now and again, but it has happened to me ALOT. Dont really know what to make of it, but it could have some reasonable explanation I suppose.

i agree with you. theres definatley lots more of this kind of thing happening.

just the other day i was sat at work listening to some guys having a conversation that i was 100% sure i had already heard and been part of before!!

also theres lots of other stuff going on like 11:11, ringing in ears etc.

i think its all part of the fact that our vibration frequency is rising and our consciousness is rising as a result, in short we are evolving at crazy speeds.

it will pick up in the next 2-4 yrs too.

Absolutely; I've had deja vu off and on intermittently for around 10-12 years. In my case it's very strong though I cannot isolate the nature of it. I have tried to determine if it's precursory or indicative of perhaps time looping or something. But I can never make heads nor tails of it. As such it remains nothing more than an interesting curiosity. I'm sure there's some meaning behind it though I have no idea what.

I will say the latest iterations of mine come after about a 6 month dry spell. It's far from the strongest though I've had 3 episodes in about 5 weeks.

The strongest I had was about 2002 or so; total recall of an event, was very disconcerting.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only other one dealing with this damnable deja vu.

There has always been deja vu, I cannot notice it increasing...

I have noticed another thing. There is so much light I cannot sleep... Even if it is pitch black! I just cannot understand it. And time seems to go faster and faster even though my life has been very boring for a year or so!

I've been getting a lot of deja vu more so lately, mainly during week days of course. And of course I seem to habitually look up at a digital clock and see it with the hour and :11.
For me I'm guessing it's mainly just a subconscious habit I've developed and not too much that's special about it.
The brain and mind do interesting things as it is possible for them to keep track of a set amount of time with a great amount of precision, whether if you do it on purpose or not consciously.
Deja vu thing seems to me to be something with one of the rare glitches of the human brain, like a connection that leads to no where.

Oh wow, I thought I was slowly losing my mind. I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one feeling this. It seems like almost every day now I get the deja vu feeling. Used to it was only things that I could have sworn that I dreamed, now it's more than what I think is dreams. And it's so weird.

A psychologist major I was dating at one point told me of a correlation she thought for my deja vu and also my relatively dreamless sleep (I.e. I dream about 1x a month AT MOST). I do however generally tend to get a blur of incomprehensible imagery when sleeping - like a series of rapid flashes of pictures.

She surmised that I was simply seeing all these possible situations and that occasionally it meshed up with real life. Unfortunately, while plausible, it doesn't agree with me simply for the FEELING of the memory that I get from deja vu; how it has that warm "You just did this, remember"? feeling. Much different than a cold viewing of a photo and saying "Oh, I've been there."

I dont have that many deja vu's, but I have this weird coincidences all the time. Even something in this thread right here is a weird coincidence. The ringing in the ears also happends more and more often. Relax, I have checked my hearing and there's nothing wrong. My friend sees 11:11 everywhere, and Ive started seeing it more and more myself. Some can just say its coincidences, but I personally thinks its something more. These coincidences are just to weird.

Agreed, I have been having more and more Deja Vu way more often then i have had in previous years. I have done research on what Deja Vu might be and the only theories i could find that made sense to me were the theories that our parallel self in another dimension has already observed what we have and in the quantum fabric of time they bounce of each other and our thought and the thoughts of our other self mix and we see if a brief moment something that we felt like we have experienced.

Scientists have come up with a theory that our brain is thinking faster then what we observe with our eyes and is able to calculate the next actions and sequences in front of us in which we are able to understand whats going on and a feeling of knowing everything for a brief moment as well.

Deja Vu is a very interesting subject to me, and it seems like the latter(also the for more) theory would almost prove the existence of time travel as well.

i have had Deja Vu a lot over the past few days, it is very odd ,
nothing helpful, just things like something going to pop open or my brother walking in to my room.

I found this old thread but I thought I old chime in and say yes I have been experiencing a lot of Deja vu lately.

I do not want to experience the Deja vu that my be coming. Fallen angels or aliens coming to earth for the end times. This dreams have been so real.

I pray they never happen.

I've heard that Deja Vu is not just simply coincidence but something much more. I get the occasional deja vu but for me its synchronicity. This happens on a daily basis.

I've been having this too. I work as a security officer. And last week my boss called and said that he's sending me to a new post. Some nice little fancy upscale apartment complex. Anyways I show up there. And when I get there I look across the parking lot over to where the leasing office plus where the swimming pool is, etc. And I swear to you I had a deja-vu moment right then and there as if I had been there before. Not just that but as if I had LIVED there in one of the apartments. Like for many years or so. It was really bugging me the whole day. And on top of everything else I was sick that day w/ a sore-throat, cold, fever body-aches, chills, etc. (But the fever, body-aches, and chills didn't happen until I went home eight hours later). So.... I DON'T KNOW. No telling what the deal is...

Hi there, awesome thread. Would pre-cognitive dreams be classed as deja vu? When you have a dream and in the morning it feels like you've dreamed a scene but it was pretty insignificant so you don't think anymore about it, until either 3 days or 3 weeks later you are re-living that whole scene for the first time consciously?

and remembering exactly what happens next, what your friend will say, knowing that as she is saying those particular words, her phone is going to ring, it will be another of her friends on the phone, her friend will say 'bla bla' and she will reply with 'bla bla', knowing that her son will then run in from outside and say "Mummy bla bla bla..." and then 3 days or weeks later; it all happens exactly in sequence and then you turn around and think to yourself "I've lived this scene before I know what is going to happen next, and it does.

or dreaming of being at the supermarket and having a particular conversation with someone you haven't seen in 18 years, knowing they will say "bla bla", knowing you will say "bla bla" and seeing someone (a stranger) walk passed and give you a dirty look because both of your trolleys/shopping carts are blocking the aisle as you are talking with this person. And then this very scene happens exactly in sequence with the exact same stranger who gave you the dirty look (in your dream)-giving you the dirty look in real life just as you are saying the exact same words as in your dream 3 weeks prior, and then you think to yourself "I've lived this scene before, I know what is going to happen next and it does, exactly as in the dream. Just a couple of examples I've experienced.

This has been happening to me all my life and I get a weird feeling every time when the scene is playing out in real life like as if I'm not fully conscious (not fully in the present) when the real scene is happening right before my eyes.

This also happens when I'm walking down the street and I may briefly glance up at someone walking towards me and think to myself "oh there's so-and-so" and then I look up at them again and realize I was wrong, it wasn't 'so-and-so' after all-in fact the person coming towards me doesn't even look remotely like 'so-and-so'. Then I carry on walking and turn the corner and there in the flesh is 'so-and-so" the person I thought I had just seen a minute ago.

Sometimes I feel the urge to pick up my mobile phone for no reason whatsoever and then it rings a milisecond later and I get a feeling/ knowing who it will be, even if its a wrong number, I know its going to be a wrong number caller. When I'm at other people's houses and their landline phone rings I'll say to them "oh that'll be your friend bla bla" and they look at me weird-then pick their phone up-and their eyes go really big because it is their friend bla bla.

I haven't figured out whether we time-travel in our sleep, I know we astral travel, or whether we are privvy to future scenes in the time-line before they occur, or whether we are accessing the Akashic records and seeing scenes that are yet to occur in the physical realms. Would be interested in any theories on this. Thank you

Also get a horrible "falling-over' feeling the day before a major earthquake, I'll be standing still somewhere and then suddenly feel like I'm going to fall over as if the room has just rocked violently, then the next day I'll read or see that a major earthquake has hit somewhere in the world.

Just for the record, this used to spook the heck out of me, but I've become used to it over the years. It's like when I meet someone for the first time and I read them and know that 'this event happened to them at this age, and that event happened to them at that age". When I want my partner to call me I 'think very strongly' "call me please" and then release that thought, and 10 minutes later my partner calls me and says "Yep, what's up?".

I love this post as well.

I have read that we chose this life on Earth to learn certain things - its like a school. Before we come here (i.e. before we are born), we plan our lives out, what we want to learn, which spiritual friends we want to pop in at certain times and help us out, etc. We see the entire thing before we're here. Because of free will, we can change our direction and venture off the path sometimes. Deja vu is a validation that you're back on track. For me, deja vu comes after big changes in my life. For example, a career change. I doubt myself sometimes and whether I've made the right decision. Then, I'll have a series of deja vu events and I know I'm in the right place, heading in the right direction.

The only thing different for me lately is that the deja vu periods are longer. They used to be a few seconds, but now last a few minutes - right down to knowing what someone is going to say next. It feels very weird when it happens.

I've had a lot of ringing in my ears lately, too and the other day, the strangest thing - like a 'boom' went off in my head and all external sound was cut out competely (I was in a noisy food court at the time). Doctor says I'm fine. Weird.

This happened to me the other day for the first time in ages. What was really weird is that I didn't catch it after the fact, I realized it was happening as it was, and I finished my brother's conversation because I knew exactly what he was going to say, because we'd already had it, even though we hadn't.It was odd, and it's been bugging me for the past week.

Call me optimistic,

I think that deja vu is how G-d/the universe/Higher power whichever you choose tells me I am on the right path.

I have had it all of my life as well and it always made me feel comforted and reassured.

thanks for the interesting discussion,
