Strange Program Request

Hello!

My request is simple, yet obviously strange. I've never heard of a program like it, but there probably is one.

If anyone can find me a program that will delete all the hundreds of folders inside a directory, and move all of the files from those folders into the parent directory.
I had a problem with an apple program, and it moved all of my files into about 2000 different folders, and it would take too long to do it myself.

Trying going into the parent directory and doing a basic windows search for *.* (all files) and make sure to include the sub-directories.
When the results are shown, just do a cut > paste from the search results window into the parent directory.

That should get everything moved, and I'm sure you know how to delete the unused folders.
