The crashes could have occured because they came from a diferent in atmosphere than ours , and in our polluted skies , it may adversly affect the craft

Very true. Everything is possible.

But how likely would that be?

Our own Martian Rovers were designed specifically to operate on hostile terrain and in the (allegedly) harsh Martian atmosphere, which they did for far longer than anticipated. And surely if we can do that, then a more advanced race would be able to do the same thing, would they not?

"Check out the sidebar on the boards page, the one that asks us to vote on what we think of UFOs etc. As of the time of posting, 76.23% of voters have expressed a belief that UFOs seen in our skies are a mix of government tech and alien visitation."

On THIS forum? Why so low?

Facts are not decided by vote. They're decided by reality.

Because folks are so eager to post, rather than vote!

Facts are not decided by vote. They're decided by reality.

All we are discussing is supposition and theory.

That vote reflects the prevailing opinion, and as we all know, voting doesn’t always produce the correct goods.

Where’s the reality? The actual stone cold facts? At best, we have strong circumstantial, and powerful personal testimony for alien visitation. Neither would hold up in a court of law.

There is, as yet, no definitive proof.

There are so many hypotheses and conclusions and beliefs surrounding the ETH that it is quite possible to state that there really is an awful lot of contradiction and disagreement and ambiguity going around. They can’t all be right; therefore, logically many are wrong, or worse, lying.

Or we really are collectively blind to the high strangeness our existence is subject to on a continual basis.

Hi, inquisitive persons.

After reading previous answers, it's appropriate adding mine.
As I have often said elsewhere:
About UFOs, here are my finds/thoughts, (that I did not invent):

1- Some UFOs come from someWHERE.

2- Some UFOs come from someWHEN !

3- Some travel by moving.

4- some travel by thought.

5- all in the universe is entangled. [What the BLEEP!? down the rabbit hole].

6- There exist: space/time & time/space,
meaning:
**WE** can move 3 ways in space, in one time line.
**THEY** can move 3 ways in time, in one space. (without moving).

7- One day, science will tell us:
! All universe's matter is made of solid light !

8- The new ***theory of everything*** !
www.ted.com...

9- Some UFOs are build in a factory by 3rd density entities, like us.
Some UFOs are "thought formed" by the Xth density entities !
Some entities don't even need UFOs.

10- There are positive and negative 4th and 5th density entities.
6th and 7th density entities are positive only ! Benevolent !
Our mentality, our profoundness, our life's services to others
decide which polarity of 4th and 5th density entities will visit us.

11- and stuff I forgot and may add later. . .? B-)

And if I may add : read the Ra material of my signature, and the
[My Favorite Sites] box in my profile, and you will have A LOT more answers !

Blue skies.

And I don’t believe I argued the point.

Aren’t we all offering an opinion?

After all, if none of us have the actual facts at our disposal, then what else can we offer apart from educated guesses and creative supposition based on our own convictions, even if they are idealized?

All opinions are welcome, in my opinion.

I only don my cynic's hat when someone tenders something they claim is the absolute truth. The truth in relation to the ETH is ongoing and subjective, rarely static or informed.

And that’s just my opinion, which I reserve the right to be subject to change…
