To Any And All - Happy Easter

I'd like to wish all who celebrate this holiday a happy easter.

This is a holiday which is integral to christianity.

No matter our church, or our doctrine - this is a time of year to celebrate one of the central tenets of christian faith.

Happy easter

and a joyful and hopefully introspective Easter to you as well.

As I type, I hear the thump thump of the bar down the street,
and the occasional boisterous exclamation of semi-inebriated joy,
the smack of dominoes being laid down hard on the wooden table,
and I realize that this experience --
although I choose today to not participate --
is no less nor more of a celebration than what I have planned.

Thanks you for the lovely message and the consideration to post it.

To me,Spring is also a time of re-birth and celebration of life so I'm trying to enjoy those small flowers and little birds,sappy as it sounds because of the hope that life is and will remain beautiful in some ways.

Quiet reflection.

I try to visualise Jesus, as a man, alive and active, as a man nailed to a tree, as a soul descended to the pit, as a risen entity and as a warrior preparing his army.

Happy Easter indeed.

My youngest grandchild was 12 this year and I thought I would never have to dye eggs again.

But I should have known better. Great granddaughter is 16 months old so I'll be coloring eggs tonight while the Easter ham is cooking in the oven.
