While the episode was entertaining, it seems that the people behind UFO Hunters are willing to believe anything or any hoax. The Ed Walters
photographs were shoved in our faces as fact, with Bruce Maccabee vouching that they are the real deal. Face it Mr Maccabee, Mr Walters took you and
many others for a ride. The photographs are obvious hoaxes when one looks at them. When asked why the case was a hoax, there was not an answer given.
Let us not forget the two major problems with the case:
1. Teenager Tommy Smith came forward and told authorities he helped Mr Walters fake the photographs. He had help with Walters' wife, his son, and
another teenager.
2. The people who bought the house where Mr Walters had his encounters went into a crawl space to put in a new water line for their refrigerator. They
found a model of the UFO that was photographed. The believers claim that the model was planted, but who would have looked in such a place? It was only
discovered by accident.
Kevin Randle's book "The Randle Report: UFOs in the 90's" has a chapter dedicated to this case. A trip to the library to read just that one
chapter would be well worth it.
The other parts of the show were interesting, but the perpetrating of the Walters photographs as real was maddening.
