First of all I would like to say that I don't really know where to put this, so since it has to do with aliens in some form or another I'd put it here. However it relates to more than just aliens.

I just stumbled upon what I think is some valuable information and I hope it hasn't been posted before. If anybody does not know what the series "V" was...here is some information on it.

en.wikipedia.org...(TV_series)

www.imdb.com...

It was basically a show where lizard-aliens were secretly disguised as humans.
Here is the main plot of the show..

A year after Liberation Day, courtesy of the red-dust bacteria, the humanoid, lizard-like aliens develop a resistance to the micro-organism and try to regain control of the Earth--only now some humans are knowingly working with them

Now you can tell how it might relate to what has been happening in our world..at least if you're a believer in David Icke's and Credo Mutwa's works

Anyways.. this is what I was really getting at. There has been a planning of making a remake of the show for some time now. And though in the link it will say Oct. 2008 I just recently found out this info so bear with me. Make what you will of it. This is just a post to send out some information and to be discussed by ATS. I don't really have much to add to it from here on out. Enjoy...

The original V was more than just another alien spaceship, good-guy vs. bad-guy show. It also served as a metaphor for the Holocaust and Nazi Germany. However, in the new version Peters said he won’t duplicate that exact concept, but will explore "what happens when the masses have blind faith in their leaders."

Is this a post to mock mine? If so sorry I wasn't really aware my post was meant to amuse people. But if so than be my guest.

I remember being a teenager watching that when it premiered. It is so much better in my memory. I tried watching it recently and thought it was so cheesy.

Anyways. The storyline is still a valid one. Can't wait to have a chance to see the remake.

I don't know about how it "relates to what's going on in the world", but it does show to me that tv producers and the like are having to scrape the bottoms of barrels for new programming.

I can't say anything bad about yet since I have not seen a script for it, so it is too early to judge.

Most of the good ideas have all been had, we just keep going full circle and bringing them back to life.

No mocking here fellow human. I'm just pointing out what the frenzied debunkers will say - if you like I'm saving them the effort, and at the same time telling you to watch another BRILLIANT movie called They Live. Have you seen it?

John Carpenter really knows the juice on the lizards...what's he been up to lately?

I was debunking, how?

They remake everything nowadays...

They are planing on remaking "They Live!" as well. As I said, everything comes full circle.

And by the way zeit, Carpenter has said in his own words, that They Live! was a satire and ironical look at the world during the reagan area, with the "mindless zombies" not paying attention to their surroundings... not a warning of an alien takeover.

Yeah and how much insight did he have - shocking really but it is a good movie and its embedded in ful on here somewhere as i saw it a few days ago in these boards.

Anyway, V - i remember this when i was young and though i thought it was good then its cheesy as now. I hope someone like jj Abrahms gets a shot at it cos then it should be quality!

I wish they hadnt ditched Invasion cos that was a damn good show & prob as close to what could possibly happen if sh~t happened.
