have i found proof of ancient mars civilisation??

was looking at the pics from the mars spirit rover and notice this, to me it looks like a carving of a fish head looking to the right in to the stone. it is in the bottom left hand side of the image just infront of the large dark rock.

Am i seeing things?? if anyone else can see it then i can provide a link to nasa website were i got the image from. Or if no one else can see what i can see i will go back to watching my name is earl!!

either would love some feedback folks

Yeah, that sure looks like undeniable proof that an entire ancient Mars civilization existed, with domesticated Martian animals, agriculture, transportation and communication systems, even a huge industrial complex that allowed them to build space ships.

Paredolia fodder, nothing more. I've seen much better. The bogus Face On Mars was at least somewhat more seeable.

ok last attempt, and i know its not as impressive as the face or other structures but i honestly do beleive i can see a stone carving. I have very very crudely highlighted the edges in yellow.

the rock in the forefront. The top of it would be the forehead, just below, leftish, there is an oval shape, eye-like crack, groove, then below, more centered is a mouth like thingamagig.

I kinda see it, but there are also trees that can kinda look like people from the right angle. What would that mean?

If you hadn't pointed us to the exact rock you're talking about, nobody else would have even considered it worth a second look. You're simply forcing the image through too many filters. It would be lovely to be "the one" who finds such evidence, but "the one" only comes along at rare intervals.

I see what you are trying to get at, the pac man face, but I think its more of one of those mind tricks rather than any kind of artifact. There are lots of rocks like that found here on earth too.
