After all the talk of the "founding fathers" and undying support of the "Constitution" that GB talks about every day..listening to some the crap he spews in this video really killed his credibility with me.

Ending the FDIC overnight? Pulling out all troops overnight? Not possible Beck. What the hell are you saying? RP isn't intending to end all of these agencies and policies overnight. Over course it has to be someting that happens over time..it would take years to transition these programs out of existance or to the states themselves.

All this talk about the debt and deficits yet GB says we should keep all of our military all over the world for 25 YEARS? That's NOT SUSTAINABLE EITHER BECK!

He tried to discredit the only guy who is speaking ANY TRUTH.

He showed his true colors today on this.

He's going to lead his supporters into voting for another neo-con or lieing politician who will do NOTHING to make the government smaller or try to get us away from wars or return power back to the states.

Do you think any Republican is going to start "relinquishing" their own power if they become president?

Right now they are salivating at all of the power they will receive should they be able to take back the executive Branch.

Of course. Glenn Beck is a back stabber. Don't you remember when he called Ron Paul supporters terrorists? Glenn Beck is no better than Rush Limbaugh or Oreilly.

Anyone who knew anything about Beck should have seen this coming. Glenn Beck actually believes that we can afford to ramapge all over the world and kill everyone we think is a terrorist...... forever. He also thinks that no-one will get angry for it and strike back at some point.

The guy is a bi-polar freak show. He doesn't care about liberty, or economic freedom. Of course this sorta works in our favour, what he doesn't understand about his own rantings is this...

If the Fed is abolished, and we go back on the gold standard, the "empire" would effectivly end, because you can "print" more gold to fund the crusade anymore. Tada! He advocates very strongly something that would entirely end the war on terror anyway. Wether or not he realizes this is open for debate. Since I err on the skeptical side I'd say he has no clue.

Glen is no fool. He knows exactly what to say to his demographic to keep them listening, buying the depends, the Viagra and the prostrate medicine.
He is just part of the right wing "cult of personality" that adopt hero's like kids worship rockstars.

There are some very high paid A&R guys guiding Glen. They know very well how the pie is sliced and they want their piece.

There is only one main purpose for media: to keep the country divided. Everything else is a dog and pony show.

Here is my problem.

I agree with what he says about the Constitution. I believe we need to get back to it..and get back to basics as a country.

His problem is he won't make the leap. Whether you believe he is some kind of hack on dole or not is for people to decide..but his lack of REAL commitment on this issue is the most troubling thing.

This cannot be half assed. If people want to talk about going back to "principles" this country was based on then it has to be ALL THE WAY.

How can he sit there and say, "Ron Paul is the closest thing we have to a founding father."....which i agree with...but then say that RP has it wrong on foreign policy.

It irks me to no end because NO ONE is wanting to fully commit to what they are preaching.

If none of the "conservative" radio hosts puts backing behind RP and actually say, "I'd vote for him" then nothing is going to change.

Another Republican will come into power in the White House..whenever that is...and nothing will change.

Nothing. He should damn well know that. How often have Republicans actually "shrunk" the size of government?

I've been one of those who have posted quite a few GB videos..as many of you know...but i saw right through him on this one.

Glenn...no matter how much you want it...MITT ROMNEY IS NOT THE ANSWER.

With what? I never said I agreed with him on everything. I guess I was hoping that he would give RP some backing...he's not going to however...he proved that today...at least in my eyes.

I still agree with what he says about the Constitution...but if you can't give full backing to it then why preach it?

Name one person who actually stands on the Constitution in the media. There isn't one. GB is the "closest" thing to it...yet he failed his own ideology on this one.

He advocates it...just not enough...not nearly enough.

He should be hammering away at this every single day..but he doesn't.
I've come to the conclusion that he still has the hooks of "neo-con" ideology in him.

David, it is just entertainment like all MSM "news programs".... Beck swings from one side of an issue to the other like a bisexual garden gate on a windy day. Fox has always been in the entertainment business and has never been in any other and after all he is a comedian.

Ron Paul makes a whole lot more sense, especially on foreign policy, than Beck could ever hope to.

But what's you're seeing is the militarist element of the GOP reacting to Ron Paul's positions, which are in fact far more consistent with traditional conservative beliefs than the modern GOP's are.

Which is why I prefer to carefully differentiate between rightwing authoritarians like Beck, and real conservatives: I think they are two very different groups, only some of them don't know it yet

Glenn Becks purpose isn't to get everyone to know the truth or start a true revolution, His purpose is to incite a NEO-CONSERVATIVE REVOLUTION, no one cared about Beck or his ramblings until a democrat won the election, FNC mocked everything he spews just a year ago, because Ron Paul and his supporters were saying a lot of the same thing and we all got laughed at, made fun of, called loonies with crazy conspiracy theories, and then ignored in general..

And now magically as I've said in previous threads, These "theories" are credible?

We know they are credible but to FNC they are just a tool to blame the Democrats and make the Conservatives blind to their own wrong doings and to the fact that both parties are two sides to the same coin...

Yes Beck is right on many of our issues, however, hes right for all the wrong reasons.
