I saw this banner on another website. For the record, my first impression was an on-line game involving space travel and exploration.

But I'd like to know more, since the actual page is not very forthcoming. Every link I click on takes me to a "Content Restricted" page, claiming the site is potentially violating a National Security Act known as ZH/3U78, along with the message:

"We apologize, but this content is being reviewed for possible violation. Anyone in possession of such content is warned that they are facing penalties not to exceed forty years in prison or compulsory conscription."

It's fake, I'm certain. (Unless my fellow ATSers can prove otherwise.) But I want to know for sure.

I can't find anything regarding ZH/3U78, and the site makes interesting claims.

My guess is a computer game. I think it's more like viral advertising - the bit at the end of the warning where it says 'or compulsory conscription' gives away the fact that it's a fake site in terms of real Armed Forces.

Yeah, I have to agree... Great marketing, nothing more. No doubt in a few days one of those links is gonna take you to a nice, shiny new game...

Click the link "attack" at the top left where it says "BREAKING NEWS:
Elevator under attack."

It is a link to give you a further insight, it is marketing.

For what it's worth, I found this banner ad embeded in the source code, but it was commented out not to appear when viewing through browser.

Any government developer with 1 neuron firing would know this. Considering this and the content, not a chance it's for real.

But it is some pretty good viral marketing! Nice find.

I personally know someone (well, maybe people) who works for USAF Space Command in Colorado. The site you posted is 100% not legit.

This is: www.afspc.af.mil...

Cool. Glad to see this was all sorted out.

It'd be nice if I could find something sensational, for once.
