My God where are the stars and flags for this thread? I am freaking out here, LONDON is under serious attack and it is from both sides, the People who are FED UP with the political financial debacle and the piolice following orders to protect the G20 participants.

If this isn't April Fools... this is the first bolt of lightening in a storm. A lot of people were predicting something like this in Britain this summer.

Pray that people involved are not hurt, and that this is some kind of hoax.

I am still waiting for verification from another source.

I have looked, nothing yet.

Whoa! Star and flag for this thread. Man, that's heavy duty. The G20 hasn't even started yet and already folks are torching buildings? Wowsers. This could be the start of something big. To be honest, my initial reaction is "Burn baby burn!"

Although, it's interesting how quickly folks are to assume it was anarchists. Seems pretty well organized for anarchists. Seems more of a revolutionary than an "anarchist" attack. I'll be paying close attention to how this plays in the press. If you start to hear the word "revolutionary" starting to be used, or anything other than "terrorist" or "anarchist"- it means it's going to be big.

There is nothing going on in London at this time that doesn't ordinarily happen, that much I can GUARANTEE you.

It looks more like media-threat propaganda to me...

The first video is a brief clip of some light-industrial unit with stacked wooden pallets ablaze.

The skyline shot of various fires is photoshopped.

And the G20 prostest march video has the impression of watching old news clips, possibly from the 1990 Poll Tax riots, as there are many folk in shorts and tshirts like its the middle of summer.

Look at the above image. Firts thing that is wrong with it is that it is currently 0156hrs here in the UK, yet the sky is lit like it is twilight. That would put the time of the image taken at about 1900-1930. Thats 6 hours ago and still no news anywhere else?

Second is that it is blatantly shopped to add in some "flames and smoke".

I am currently at work and we have plenty of sites and equipment in the City and surrounding areas. We definately have NO REPORTS of any rioting, arson or otherwise at this time.

This is the worst thing I have ever seen for London, My Sister has Family there, and I just worry so for the Young protestors that went thinking that their presence could possibly make a difference, I am sick about thoughts along those lines, just sick!

Yes like at the sinking scene in the movie Titantic , only the best Brandy, Tea and cigars for a moment such as this.

Thing is the financial districts will make them pay, through loss of even more freedoms and price hikes the likes no one will believe.

The skyline shot looks really fake, the other pictures could be from the millions of fires that rage across the planet....

But either way.... We'll find out soon. Unless of course the MSN doesn't cover it.

It appears that the fire shots are from an incident in 2005...and yes, with a bus.

There is cause for alarm with so many in the streets, however.

I'm putting more than cream in me tea .....right now!!!!
