Man.... that just sounds amazing.

It's funny how life gives us opportunities like that and usually at the wrong time.... I could have moved to Jersey years ago, with work, but couldn't do it at the time.
I often wonder what that would have been like too.

I did take them yeah, just a cheap digital camera.


"Where am I (my image)? " How do you mean.... where were the pics taken?

The pics are all taken in Cornwall, The first load at the Eden project LINK and the rest at Tintagel Castle LINK

Yeah, the fickle finger of fate is a strange one indeed ... I even had a job to walk into ... blending essential oils for the people who owned the paddock ... they used to have a shop in Tintagel and I did a lot of aromatherapy at that time.

But instead I ended up on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors renting a cottage that was built in 1601 ... why North Yorkshire (?) ... because I'd never been there before and I didn't know anyone there (a complete fresh start in every sense) and to complete the change of direction I went back to school and studied like hell to broaden my horizons ... apart from the appeal of living in a converted railway carriage ... I have no regrets ... but as I said before ... Cornwall is my spiritual home.

Who knows if I ever get the urge to make another clean sweep in my life I may still end up there ... feeling all nostalgic now.

Yes, I was thinking there would be a pict of your actual person. Somehow to me, you will always have angel wings. lol. I miss that avy.

But those photos are all so good.

I thought it was a rather unique tree and wanted my picture taken in/on it. I wish I'd had something better than a $10 digital camera at the time, it's really a beautiful place.

Sounds pretty cool though.


And yeah, if I move again, will definitely be to Cornwall I think....just feels right.
But the Sommerset, Hampshire.... The Lake District.... all beautiful places.
Even here in rural Oxfordshire, I'm spoiled by all the beautiful countryside.... the grass is always greener I guess.



But for sure, Cornwall definitely feels like home.
