Spring has sprung and the iciness has melted from my bones.

I know I should resist, but I just can't help it.

Nice seeing all your lovely faces! It's been a while.

You folks are gorgeous and it is so nice to be able to put a face with a name.

It must be an odd phenomenon (or a quirk that affects only me) that when I see someone's photo I am not often surprised. It's almost as if I expected them to look the way that they do. Or very close rather.

with her best friend since they were babies born in the same hospital months apart.

Happy to be going home from the hospital, yesterday, after a hip replacement. Bye bye chronic pain!

It's been 20 years since the first spark of interest...10 years since I added it to my bucket list...7 years since I moved to the right province and vowed to do it...and 4 hours drive to get there... I claim to be the holier than thou of procrastinators....

The UFO Museum

You can see the view from atop a small cliff, of the ocean and supposed crash site behind us.

We took a drive down to the south shore of Nova Scotia this weekend on a gorgeous warm fall day with all the leaves in full color. To anyone who has not made the trip, but plans to...it is SO WORTH IT. The sight of the ocean is like standing on the edge of the world and you can clearly see how something crashing into the water would send the tiny community into a frenzy. Sadly, the museum was closed for the season. Hopefully next year we can visit when it's open.
