Oh, I've done that in Tunisia, an it was fun! At the time, they told us the cue for the camel to run was "wazzaaaah"
-at a time the kids were all into saying that, so my kids had a blast making them take off- their gallop is really wierd.
They also gave us a bit of cactus fruit to hold in our mouths, and the camel would grab it with it's teeth.
Scared the hell out of me. We have a picture of me kissing a camel with every vein in my neck sticking out and my eyes squinched tightly shut.

This is in Fukuoka Japan on Itoshima peninsula will up date my menu from last year adding more stuff, we are seasonal though, too darn cold and windy during winter season for me to be out there, here is a quick tour.
