Yip, I mean not to get into administrative issues or whatever (we know who the kings are, and they share their crown well - still the best on the Internet), but member to member - brother to brother.

A dance and a prayer for rain (and a bit of a summer trance party).
It did actually rain afterwards.
Not enough though.
I can't dance as much as the water and rain we need.

About a year or so ago maybe.
Not much has changed.
Me and our "wolf".

Actually my wolf brother.
But flippin' scary when he charges.

This was a very important holiday season for me!

Not only is it my grandsons first (he's six months old),
but we had my grandaughter for a week.
The situation with her, (my son, his ex) is very complicated and I've spent 4 years doing a lot of "relational" work being a go between for them, trying to help each with their personal concerns and feelings, and sustain contact without things getting into hostile legal battles that would be detrimental for the child.

This was really the apex of that "diplomatic mission", in which not only we got to have our grandchild at home, but my son got to know her for the first time, and she him.

It went wonderfully, and was so touching! It was the best Christmas and birthday present ever!

Wish I could send you the wet stuff we are having in the UK.

Family holiday picture. We really have it together and took all the pictures facing the sun, lol. I'm the blonde standing next to my hubby in the hat.



The cats were hiding under the bed, their home was taken over by the dogs and they were both really mad!!

Thanks, currently the Western Cape has joined some of our other South African provinces as being in an official heat-wave.
El Nino hit us hard.
We also have water restrictions since New Year.

On social media there's a clip from Russia on how to save water.
It consists of putting a bucket filled with water on your head, and lifting a corner every time you need a rinse.
I haven't found the right bucket yet, but it could work with some practice.

I'd love to post some more social photos, which also have more scenery, but it doesn't seem ethical to put people on global media without their permission.
Still trying to turn more people onto ATS and become members.
