New ATS Media Member's Photos Thread

So last night, with the impending Government shutdown quite possibly costing me my paycheck, I decided to take my wife up on her offer to take some semi pro pictures of me in hopes to kick start my modeling career

You do have a look that could make you some money in either modeling or TV/Film.
But it takes more than just being good looking. If you can sing, dance, play the harpsichord; your chances increase dramatically.
As an actor/crew & sometime casting director for small indy productions; I first look for "the Look" but if you can't slate properly and pull off a cold read then you don't get far, as there are many good looking men/women that have worked on their craft and are looking for work in the industry. The competition is very keen!
Take a years worth of acting lessons from a qualified coach, go to every audition you can find, get an agent, it's worth the effort. It helps a lot to be in an area where productions are being made but you can start the process anywhere. There is almost no difference in persueing an acting or modeling gig.

As we speak, I have another laptop flashing up headshots and resume's of beautiful people looking for auditions for an upcoming pilot. Only a very few will make the cut and get a call back. But....if you don't sit at the table and play the game...you have no chance of winning!

That was a Bass, and we have Crappie or Sac-au-lait is how we say it,and Brim.

Yes,it cam out better than I thought and I actually want to take half of the picture and tattoo half on one
arm and the other half on the other arm...on the outside so I can put them together to make the photo.
Need a really good artist to pull off though.
I want half of me with one child on one and the other half of me and the other on the opposite arm.

No pictures of me but these are some I took this morning from around my yard here in Florida. As you can tell it does not have the best soil and plants but we make do. The sunflowers were planted last month and are growing fast.

Right, so my plan is kinda working.
I'm getting spots, I'm getting darker...here's an update (since I haven't taken a pic for so long which I'm glad cause I HATE HATE HATE taking pics.)
Oh yeah, part of my eyebrow is waxed off ROFL but I think it's growing back!?

I agree with Whaaaaa, Juston.

You have potential, but you are doing a big no-no. Don't be cliche in your pictures. Be totally unique and don't do the same old poses that everyone does. Really get into it and let your inner self permeate the picture.

You are on your way, but try something like extremely unique. Maybe pose with a magic stick?
