For some reason the links work and then don't work. Earlier I tried posting some youtube videos and they work here and there.

Yep, for the you tubes it's only the code after the ='s in the url. For the pics upload them to ats media section and then you get a few links of cody stuffs, 3? click the one you need and select all, copy and paste into your post
