This, in my opinion, is one of the biggest problems in our society today.

A woman can physically attack a man, and not be held responsible, why? Just because she failed to hurt him in her attack doesn't mean she isn't guilty of battery.

A woman can be a drug addict who cheats on her husband, abandons her family and moves in with another man, and yet she will still get the children, child support, and possibly alimony. The man is guilty in family court no matter what he does, unless he has money and can afford a very good lawyer.

I guess charging this girl, for pornographic distribution for having taken pictures of herself naked and distributing them on the internet, is a backlash against the growing tide to label all men, who look sideways at a teenage girl, as socially deviant perverts, and criminals who belong in jail.

The problem is that for the courts, this is a win win situation. Their power continues to grow, and our liberties continue to dwindle.

As a victim of domestic violence, and having supported many friends in their relationships, usually its the woman who is the victim, not always. One of my friends was the opposite, where it was the 5 foot 1" inch tall crack head, control freak woman that used to beat him with phones and was very abusive. But there is a difference. Shall I point it out to you? At no point was he in danger physically from her, unless he chose to be. There are only some women who are as strong or stronger than men. My friends and acquaintances and I were in danger physically whether we chose to be or not.

However that being said, there are many ways, and its primarily due to the legal system and the ways lawyers and courts are set up, that men do get shafted. Even in my situation, my ex had very good moments and is relatively good, at least he is safe with the kids, and in fact, loves them and would give his life for them to protect them. I initiated my own arranged intermediary so that he could see them, and then with permission, allowed for contact and even to have the kids when they want to as his life has improved. I know that we both love them, but he hasn't paid child support and still isn't stable enough to give me more than short breaks. And, I still don't feel safe from him due to the past. I know my tongue, and if speaking up can get put me in physical danger, I have to tip toe around him a bit. Still my attitude has helped the love and relationships to be the best, not the worse they could have been.

This shouldn't have any impact on whether a teenager can be both a victim or perpetrator of a crime related to pedafile behavior.

Its how it runs. Men are screwed no matter what. A woman goes crazy, pulls out a bat and starts to beat her child, the father tries too restrain her, he's hauled off to jail for domestic abuse and the woman keeps the kid.

Sorry to hear that you have gone through a physically abusive relationship, and I agree that when a man physically assaults a woman, she is in far greater danger typically, than when a woman assaults a man, but the fact remains that neither should be tolerated. People want to pretend that because no serious physical harm was done, she shouldn't be legally punished, and this attitude only makes things far worse.

I don't know why anyone would put up with an abusive relationship, but a lot of people do. From what I have seen, women attack men a great deal more than men attack women, it just doesn't get reported. While the physical damage isn't done, regular abuse takes its toll. How many times is man supposed to put up with being physically assaulted? How many domestic violence cases are a result of a man retaliating? Sure, mostly female attacks are cute and sexy, but unless it is meant to be cute and sexy, it should not be happening. With the current rules the way they are, with mens' rights being taken away at the levels that the courts are now operating, then neither side should be allowed to physically attack the other. Should a girl grow up thinking that it is alright to punch her husband in the face and physically attack him?

Is this related to the topic at hand, yes, I think it is, because part of the problem is that a double standard has been set by the courts when it come to men and women, and this needs to be eliminated.

It is to be expected. These online social networks do not filter content for children. They also do not stop bashing on your kid from another kid. I think they could care less. It is all about revenue. THere is nothing stopping an adult from communicating with your 14 year old or anything else.

I found a site for chatting and all they same as those networks that is run by retire law enforcement. They claim it is designed specifically for kids 17 & under. I let my girl use that site only. It is called the Chatnium. I know that if my girl posts a picture like that, they will catch it immediately and not only get it off, but notify me as the parent before anything else. So far I like it.
