I do appreciate the info and sentiments...I will absolutely be "smart and savy" in the days ahead and I have no problem with anything that mght have to be done.

Thanks again for sharing the info and concerns.

I'm taking this personally.

I think that if we seemingly CANNOT have ANY control of the insane and consuming events swirling around us we surely MUST take control of what happens on our own property?

I believe that if/when it happens,it will be fast and furious and violent as well.

If the cartels are indeed paying the people to protest per the video, then what is to stop them from paying the "guardians of the border" as well?

It stinks and I am not going to trust the situation.

Let me add a lil' tidbit here:

I so not often venture into large public crowds as I don't suffer fools well.

Took a couple of favorite children to the public zoo in San Antonio yesterday in hopes of having some "Good Ol' Fashioned Griswald Family Fun" and to forget about the other chit going on: not only was I in the extreme minority by being an Anglo chic but can I tell you how MANY young Hispanic women were there say between 15-25 with either baby carriages or pregnant or both??? It was unbelieveable to see as a whole.
Shocking actually.

NOT looking to discuss the right/wrong of breeding, that's probably on another thread, but I WILL tell you that it's already a HUGE problem economically in my rural community as far as schools, care, and abuse goes and I can't even imagine if the flood-gates break lose what the reprecussions might be.

We in Texas simply cannot absorb it.

I can't see keeping all the people out...over 2000 Mi of border...

Most of it out in the desolate desert...be hard to supply base camps starting out...

Then...what do ya do? Send 'em back..to try again another day/way?

Detain 'em? take a lot of transportation if the numbers were that high...

Of course IF they do have these transport trains with benches and shackles that might do it...

Now...next question is...are some camps for us and some for them?

Are they gonna put us in all together in some?

Now...next question is...food & drink...how they going to supply all that also...

Sorry...more questions than answers...

I've never bought into the internment camps for US citizens idea.
Why would they want to imprison the folks that "pay the bills?" (although more and more I see we aren't really paying anything at all considering the whole system is a sham.)

I think this has all been thought about, reviewed and planned long before it became an "issue".

We already know the CIA has links to drug running. We already know that there are plenty of people in the US Government with their fingers in the pie.

A US Border guard is in prison for shooting an Illegal/Drug Dealer.

A US Citizen is already sued by (and lost to) illegal immigrants over being detained and having their "civil rights" violated.

Texas has been pretty much begging for help for quite some time and only AFTER putting their guard units on 'stand-by' did this get any "attention" from the Feds.

Pelosi is telling illegal immigrants not to worry, that "raids" on the homes they live in are "unamerican".

Plenty of politicians have been "sucking up" to illegals for a while now and giving them "rights" that they don't deserve.

The illegals have already, basically, been told .. "It's Okay! Come on over!"

They want to "stop" gun smuggling so in order to do so they disarm the American people.

They (the government) knew something was coming. You can't make me believe they didn't. In all actuality I wouldn't be suprised if this is the flag event people have been wondering about.

The American economy collapses, Mexico is at war and floods America with illegals. The Fed sends in troops as a "facade" to cover what they've been planning all along. Aren't most of the events that happen related to war? Well, here you go. Here is the "war" we've all been speculating about.

Way too many coincidences to be anything but planned.

My $0.02 worth.

The camps are not for the Mexicans - They're for you!

I'm writing this with boots on the ground from Mexico. The economy is booming here. There are new construction starts and help wanted signs every where you look. There are some rough area's as there are in any big city, but for the most part the police here do an excellent job of keeping people safe.
The crime rate is much lower than it is in the states. People, including myself don't think twice about walking around town at night alone. These are not signs of a failed or collapsing government, far from it.
As Jay-In-AR pointed out "It certainly appears that camps were built in advance of this, does it not?"
You're being fed more lies and propaganda by the corporate media and their masters. There's something very strange going on, and If I were you I'd be afraid, but it isn't millions of Mexicans crossing your boarder that you should be afraid of...

I see a bad moon rising.

*Reads that last post and immediately thinks of Baghdad Bob*

Truth is, I know several people who have recently spent time in Mexico and they all agree that it is very violent down there right now.

Of course the tourism hotspots are going to be alright. They wouldn't allow violence there as tourism is vital to their economy.

No - The truth is... That you don't personally know because you haven't recently been here, if you've been here at all. I live in Mexico and I do not live in a tourist area, I drive up and down these roads everyday. Before that I lived in Phoenix, Seattle and Austin. For the past five years I've lived and traveled all over South and Central America, I'm speaking from experience. I'm a single female, waist length blond hair, 5 foot 5, 120 pounds, I've never felt threatened in Mexico but I wouldn't travel alone in the states.

If your friends felt it was so violent here, they must feel like they're living in a war zone in the states given the the crime rate there. 508 Chicago kids shot in just 16 months. Note this only covers Chicago and only counts the children who were shot, not adults and not stats for the rest of the states.

Sorry but Mexico doesn't even come close to those statistics.

Doesn't change the fact that in Juarez there are firefights on a daily basis and the military is involved.
I trust my grandmother not to lie about these things.

And no, I haven't been down there recently. And only once in my life. A long time ago.

Don't have much desire to make a return trip right now, though.

The reason I mentioned the "tourist areas" is because you cited a source that showed you how it looks in Cancun. Of course the Government will stop violence from popping up in these areas at all cost.

Sorry but Mexico doesn't even come close to those statistics.

I'm not saying that the border area's aren't having some issues, same as many area's in the states (Oakland comes to mind.) I was saying that most all of Mexico is safe with a strong economy and growing middle class, far from collapse of any kind. Knowing this, I do not believe that the camps are for millions of Mexicans that are going to rush the US border.
I'm just trying to give you folks a heads up. I live here and you're being lied to, the media is not your friend.

The source I cited has links regarding safety in many area's of Mexico.

I know this is difficult to figure out for our government but let me help them make a decision Do Not Let Them Come Across The Border from Mexico then their will be no refuge camps.

You say this would be cruel and inhumane but are you going to pay for the millions more people that come across the border into the U.S. when our U.S. government and our states are flat broke?

Bottom line is that if the US decides to squash the Drug Cartels, they will do so.
Problem is that up to this point, that hasn't been much of a priority, it seems.

I disagree. If you want to make drugs illegal, and if there is a high demand for these drugs, then strong drug cartels are the unavoidable outcome. Even if you take out the "leaders," you'll just have new people step up and start earning that drug money. The prohibition of alcohol and the decades-long "War on Drugs" has proven this. The only thing that weakened crack gangs in the US was the fact that the legalization of abortion eventually lowered demand for crack.

So, the options are:

1. Legalize drugs, thereby strangling the illegal cartels.
2. Lower the demand for drugs in the United States.
3. Accept that there are going to be strong drug cartels.

Here in the USA, we seem to have decided to go with Option 3 -- having failed horribly at Option 2, and given that Option 1 is political suicide.

Currently built FEMA Camps around the US can hold up to 4 million people according to FEMA and the House Bill that provided the funding to Halliburton and KBR that built them.

Funny thing is, the bil called for the camps in just such a case, which seemed ridiculous at the time as we didn't stop them from coming into America. It was assumed those camps were for us for natural disasters or Martial Law. If they saw this one coming and are prepared Camp Wise, that would be great forward looking, or PLANNING!

Mexico is the biggest enemy we have and has been for decades. Bring the troops home from iraq and put them on the border with stk orders.

Of course that won't happen because Big Business loves the cheap labor of illegals and pays our govt to let the invasion continue.

AMERICA = TOTAL CORRUPTION.

You need to look at the bigger picture. Our Mexican cousins are not our enemies. The Mexican people are being manipulated just like everyone else in the world is.

When the people can't take anymore, the governments will step in with a solution to the problem that they themselves created. The people will be so desperate, they will accept "Any" solution. It's called Problem - Reaction - Solution, and governments are very good at it.

I Found this photo of a newly constructed compound on C2C the other night. I seen some photo here on ATS like this that could be something else, and questionable. But this photo on C2C that was posted recently looks like the real deal to me, and serves some kind of purpose.
This photo had me wondering what this was for in the middle Arizona desert. check out the link and short photo story. it’s very compelling. After reading this post now I know why it was built in Arizona desert, 10,000 plus crossing the border ? could it be a holding compund.

Notice the Razor Wire...

Blackwater and Sacaton Arizona I think are about 140 miles from the border.
