I just saw this on Fox News.

In a On Air Discussion they talk about 10's of thousands to millions of Mexicans Leaving their country in a failed Government.

The Guest stated the Government was prepping Camps in eventuallity of this happening soon...

Anyone have anymore info on this?

Last night cnn and fox where talking to people who said the gov is getting ready to send the army down to the borders along California, Arizona New Mexico and Texas.
They where discussing about it being legal and all but that the situation has gotten a lot worse in the last week with violence spreading inland up to 250 miles into Arizona and Southern California.

I know right? I don't know about you guys, but I feel so safe right now....wooohoo!!!

On a more serious note, what does the American government plan to do about this situation? Besides building camps.

What I found so very odd about the whole thing was how late at night it was on to begin with! There would have been very few viewers at the time it was on both stations. I mean the people living in these states know there is a big problem that is getting ready to explode any day. Why try and hide it from the rest of the country?

Thanks for the info: I am less than three hours from the border.

This doesn't exactly thrill me.

There have already been MANY incidents that have affected people I know who own hunting properties and such further South of me.Looting and destruction of property is very common and people here are weary of having to absorb the losses.

Will start snooping around in am and see what I can find out from the border patrol guys at the gym.

I am afraid that if it happens and isn't/can't be contained that it will be a tough situation here and I'm not playin'.

I guess this shouldn't surprise anyone. I mean, the folks in Texas were talking about this weeks ago.
Their National Guard was put on alert for deployment.

I knew it was just a matter of time.

It IS surprising though to see this may be happening in all of the border states.

Anyone remember... oh... about a year and a half ago when Bush met with the Presidents of both Mexico and Canada? Speculation was that they were trying to pave the way for a North American Union. It wasn't long after that the camps started springing up. I wonder if this is why they were building them.
Add to that Canada's military taking a year long hiatus. I wonder if the plan may be to have someone ahemRussiaahem stir up some stuff in Canada forcing the US to intervene on their behalf.

Destabilization in Mexico and Canada. The US absorbs both? I'm not sure, but the writing is on the wall for SOMETHING to happen. And soon.

Great...

Our prisons are full already and they can't have enough room in those camps for possibly a million...what are they gonna do?

I've already heard the states are so broke they're talking about lots of early releases...I got 3-5 Prisons around me...

Talk about a pickle...

And then we got a shortage of Ammo going on...how we supposed to protect ourselfs with no forces and no ammo???

I searched most of the MSM sites for any additional news of this. Any links, don't want to reference ATS to some of my friends as a newsa source, not that I don't trust the info especially from the credit to the posters, but it's always easier finding another source for the those that still need convincing, especially since the wife leave for SoCal on wednesday.

Not good.

Fences,a big dog,and an even meaner girl with a shotgun who is not going to be bullied when she's worked hard for what is hers! (I have ammo,LOL!)

Can I tell you that it's been "dicey" down here for a while with the locals because of the illegal activity seemingly being allowed to continue?
It will get ugly FAST if this happens.

I am a transplant but one thing I have learned without a shadow of a doubt is that Texans mean BUSINESS when it comes to their lands, homes, and families. They WILL stand up to intruders no matter what.

My ranch is on the site of where former Indian battles were fought and won.

The temps in South Texas will soon start to rise and stay that way: prisions in the South that are not air-conditioned haven't faired well here, they've had to move or release the guests.

Chit.

Read your last sentence again.....do you get it now?
Ahh yes well what are we to do WHEN the citizens can't defend themselves? Call in the military of course! Not enough you say well then call up the draft...

As a side thought, I would venture that we still have a relatively large military presence here in the states. We still have a bunch of National Guard troops.
If things got out of hand they could send in the Guard to hold until we could pull troops out of Iraq and Afghan to mop up.
And those troops would be thrilled to be coming back home.

Bottom line is that if the US decides to squash the Drug Cartels, they will do so.
Problem is that up to this point, that hasn't been much of a priority, it seems.

You are right: it's big business and I believe that many, many have their hands in the dirty lil' drug pot when it comes to money.

I have heard that at much as 70% of the US supply of heroin is coming in through San Antonio, the closest city to me.

Wait, so are you saying that the camps were made for the illegals coming in from Mexico into America?

It certainly appears that camps were built in advance of this, does it not?
I mean, I don't know. I wouldn't put anything past the Government.
They are crazy, crazy crooked. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to hear that this entire mess south of the border has been cooked up by the CIA. I mean, we KNOW that they are responsible for trafficking of drugs into the US.

Just sayin...

Just make sure to protect you and yours.
This is a very twisted game they are playing and they've been at it for awhile now. Remember the Boarder Patrol guy that was imprisoned for shooting an illegal? That illegal was a criminal and he walked scotch free and that agent is still in jail...

Yes, there is much more than meets the eye here.

After looking at that again...yer right I answered my own question and didn't realize it...

I'm a long way north of there and have some means of defending myself...guess if that SHTF...we'll pick up ammo along the way somehow do it our selfs!!!

If Mexico collapses, what will happen to the US when they all come here?

Well, that would give them a good reason to do away with the failing dollar and introduce the Amero.
In the long run, it would make us a much stronger country. We would then control almost all of the Gulf of Mexico. We would absorb all of the resources in Mexico, also.
But in the short term, we would be completely screwed from an economic standpoint.
