How do ppl get some many ATS points

I acumulated a ton of points early on back when we ATSNN. You got a ton of points for each approved news submission. Plus 50 points for each post etc.

But as noted above the quickes way is to produce quality threads. You never know what is going to resonante with us.

The above method is the best to get staff applause.

You know what would be awesome?.. and I'll just throw in the suggestion here since it's pretty much on-topic.

Why don't ATS have certain weekends-for example; where the points are tripled for each post or like 30 points for each post.. etc..

There's this game I play on PS. And every two weeks or so.. they have a double XP weekend.. and this motivates people to play more, and get a bit more enjoyment out of the experience and level-up.

Perhaps ATS could implement something similar?.. that would be awesome IMO.

I did it by coming in at night and washing dishes, sweeping & mopping, taking
out the garbage, & tidying-up; . . .
Ya gotta use plenty of Lysol dis-infectant, tho!

But what about we who are completely lost, in the 'twitter' and the 'podcasts' and such....or, still have NO idea how to 'quote' from another's previous post, certain sentences to focus on?

There are, simply, many of us who are less-than-computer-savvy in this regard. Sure, we struggle along.....

BTW, I get headaches when a previous post gets 'parsed' so much....and it goes on, and on, and on....I end up skipping those!!

There's plenty of people with a LOT better ratio than me

No big secret though - aim for quality and if it's good enough, chances are someone will spot it and hit you with an applause

Well the best way id say is post podcasts. I forget exactly how much but like. I postwed something close to 600 posts and replies, that didnt even amount to like 50,000 i dont think.Then i started doing podcasts and posting my music.

They grew pretty quick, but honestly they are for podcasting so it doesnt neccessarily mean ive made alot of good posts. So i wouldnt worry about others points who knows wherre they got them,.

I give my points away for free. Don't need them. Admins you can donate them to the needy.

I see no points in points LOL
