(Schro/Shock/Ian Road Trip '09) Dinner with the guys!

Just had dinner and a great meeting with Schro Ian and Shock!

It was great to meet you guys and I really enjoyed our conversations.

BTW, I sent them on to Marfa to check out the "lights", can't wait to hear your report.

Actually all we did is eat and drink.

Spencer was an incredibly generous and gracious host, he also happens to be adorably funny, as well you know.

We actually caught him at a very busy time and we were thrilled to get the opportunity to spend a couple of terrific hours with him getting to know each other and sharing some laughs.

Plus our convos were waaay above top secret.

I posted last night just before bed, so I was a wee bit tired and didn't express what a joy it was to finally get to meet the guys. I was very impressed with their eloquence and knowledge through a range of topics. We are very fortunate indeed to have people like them involved with ATS/BTS.

Just wanted to reiterate that Spencer is an awesome guy to hang out with (damn funny) and that the evening was good fun. Unfortunately, we decided against the Marfa trip as it would have set the trip back a day without a guarentee of seeing anything. We would have gotten there at 2am, stayed up for 30-60 minutes gotten to a hotel by 4am and then would have started the back tracking at about 1pm...so unfortunately we didn't do Marfa...

But dinner with Spencer was more than worth it...even if the entire conversation was centered upon the DATS Gals...
