For a while, the executive bonus exemption in the economic stimulus looked like sleight of hand worthy of a Las Vegas stage. No one could explain where it came from. On Wednesday, Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., acknowledged that his staff agreed to dilute the executive pay provision that would have applied retroactively to recipients of federal aid.

Dodd, the chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, told CNN that the request came from Obama administration officials whom he did not identify.

This is getting sick.

Dodd, Geithner and Obama have been behind this the whole time!

What do they take us for?

We already know.

I hope everyone who voted this gang of thieves into office has the guts to admit their mistake.

AIG's whole "credit default swap" program dates back to 2000 and Frank, Dodd and Clinton's joint removal of investment banking restrictions.

The whole group is getting exposed finally, but it's far too late for most of us, isn't it?
