Obama might very well get himself out of this.

But it will still leave a mark or scar on him and his administration.

This guy is such a scumbag. And he has a history of lying. Who knows what he is really trying to cover up.

This is a bombshell. The more I think about it the worse it gets for Obama.
His credibility is shot. His only real defense could be that he did not know about it but then he looks like he is incompetent and has no control of the people within his administration.

His choices are not good. Either he faked anger and knew all along or he really was angry because he had no idea is going on.

They're trying to cover up the 53billion that was sent to foreign banks. This scandal was created.

Still defending Obama to the very last, huh? You just can't bring yourself to admit that MAYBE Obama isn't the messiah that you think he is???

You know what he's going to do. He's going to point the finger directly at Geithner.

He's not going to be impeached or anything for it, but in terms of public opinion, this is going to be a complete nightmare for this administration unless they find a scapegoat QUICK. Plus, this *might* open the floodgates for others close to the administration to step forward and report additional instances of corruption or unethical behavior.

So all of a sudden you believe a congressman because it suits your own personal interests?

Mr. I did/I didn't is a valuable source of information?

There's just one small problem: an official within Obama's Treasury Department has confirmed it. Its the reason Dodd was pressed on the issue during an interview.

Dodd acknowledged his role in the change after a Treasury Department official told CNN the administration pushed for the language.

Stick a fork in him, hes done. I hope he likes playing ping pong, cause when locked up, that and checkers are the only way to survive, oh and basketball too. Maybe he can start lifting weights while locked up as well, he can use a good workout.

Anybody see the post-election South Park where Obama's only goal in winning the Presidency was to swipe some giant diamond and run and McCain et al were in on the scam?

Yeah, waaay too creepy how this is all turning out just like that cartoon.

Maybe you are right and Obama will avoid the stench. Geithner might take the hit for this one. They are calling for his resignation already.

Well Dodd was going to have to admit it sooner or later, it was called "The Dodd Amendment" for cryin' out loud!

Now he is saying that he had to insert the bonus loophole because the Treasury Dept. was telling him that there would be massive lawsuits if he didn't. Of course this is all BS, designed to cover his rear.

If his constituents have any brains they'll start a recall drive on Mr. Dodd. Lyin' bag of crap that he is.

Obama will not be touched by this incident.....there will be other scapegoats; which leads to more questions; just how far does the rabbit hole go? A definite bomb shell for sure.

Strangely, Dodd went on to say that it was the Obama administration that put him up to it!
www.abovetopsecret.com...

I don't think we can trust anything coming from Washinton on this anymore.

Turns out that 11 of the 73 AIG guys who got "retention" bonuses of $1million+ were no longer employed by AIG!

Next speech on the teleprompter:

"Nothing to see here, folks. Move along..."

"Didn't you notice that tip-off for March Madness starts in just about an hour. Do you have your brackets ready?"

I wonder if Dodd picked UConn for the Final Four?

I asked Senator Debbie Stabenow to allow me to speak on the floor of the Senate to talk to Dodd and the rest of these idiots face to face and give them the tongue lashing they dolled out to AIG. How dare they feign outrage at AIG for exploiting a loophole that our legislative branch put in for them?

I know I won't be able to but it would feel damn good to verbally smack them for this charade!
