yeah ive said it 3 times...a gunship, (box with circles) is a factory building and the (little box) is a house....top down view...

The moment i saw this it made me think of something i've seen before...

It made me think of some images from George Adamskis book, 'flying saucers have landed'.

On the second link you will have to scroll down to almost the bottom of the page to see what I am seeing for a comparison, even the diagram (circualr) of the craft..

It might have no relevance at all, but it did strike me as similar.

WOW. A swastika inside a circle over a cross not to mention the other shapes around it. My guess is it's an attempt to send a 'crop circle' type message to whomever is making those crop circles.

Sorry I didn't read the thread past page 4 (I will it in a while) IMO if you ask me it is a ground mark for calibrating optical equipment used by bombers but it should have been some pretty ancient equipment like from WWII. Bomber flies overhead drops the dummy, ground control confirms accuracy, then optics expert calibrates the equipment. I don't believe this is how they do it these days but in first world war and WWII I can't imagine what else could they use.

We can make out other dummy targets around the main cross like (probably all used for calibration purposes with the main central target cross)

a ship (the eye) top above the main cross
a fuel facility (6pack inside the square) right from the cross
a drop zone or target against infantry (the X inside a square) left from the cross
a small runway (as a target) bottom from the cross

This graphic has all the 4 different target types bombing runs ussualy go after. Ships, facilities, personnel, runways/airfields and since all 4 types are present i guess these bombing training markers are from at least WWII era where same type of bombers were used to bomb anything, from large targets like ships to small diverse targets like personnel. While today we use precision techniques and different types of craft and ordinance.

Yes, so it is the antique Indian sign (not the Nazi sign who inverted it). The Indians used it in both ways left and rigth pointing.

The "battleship" seems to be over top of one of the older lines in the desert. The "6 in a box" reminds me of a nice oil tanks target.

Can anyone see which lines are older or less defined than the others? A comparison would shed some light here.

p.s. I love how "case closed" gives some people enough resolution to leave the thread, while opening up an entirely different and more in-depth view of things for others.

I think it may be a picture of what is left of europe and africa after an event. if so their should be a corresponding design on the oppisite side of the earth I would imagine that would depict the americas.

WW2 era bombing range. Top ship right looks to be a factory and left a house. The swastika not sure what that is doing there....

Blupblup, I tried to figure out the shape of the symbols by filling them in with black lines. This image was from the Maps.google.com.

I later took a screeny on Google Earth instead where the symbols show in alot better detail. So the black and the image itself are very retuched by me. And as you can see on the symbols on that pic and compare it with the other, more detailed one I also posted, you'll see that the first pic ( the one you refer to ) is quite false. It's not to humanoid figures but airplane shapes.

Sorry for posting bad links. If you were able to view it you would see an oil drilling rig to the right of the image, with a gated fence.

The picture is too small to see anything. If this is pertaining to my mention of oil tanks, I think you may be thinking of oil rigs here??

Oil tanks from above look more like marshmellows and generally grouped together, similar to the 6 circles in a box. Of course this is debatable like almost everything else on this thread

Yes, my links suck. You can see them better in my pictures folder. Youre welcomed to check them out. There is only one on this subject. My point is I doubt they are bombing sites if the oil wells are so close. I cant answer what those symbols are. They are sure strange. I hope someone has a reasonable explanation.

You're not the first to find this sort of stuff out in the desert, out in the barren wastes of New Mexico and Nevada is where our government and military go to be alone. They own a whole boatload of territory out in the desert where they essentially do whatever they want, include carve triangles, hexagrams, build massive runways, and test every sort of weapon imaginable. This looks to be part of some sort of testing range.

Here's another fairly well-known set of coordinates (this one not so far from Area 51 in NV)

37°24'6.01"N, 116°52'4.60"W

No one knows what the government could be doing in the desert and these images only give us hints, imagine the huge facilities they've got underground

If you go to the northeast of that you can see a "town" arranged on an "x" or cross shape. A little to the left and there is a train!

This is a fun thread. Some of us are spending time looking at Mars sat photos when maybe we should be looking at Earth?? Can't wait for the Ocean and lake maps to get better.

Also my google image is not looking down on the oil wells. It's a ground shot camera view, near the location that shows an oil drilling rig or maybe 2. They are oil wells. This is off highway 457, very close to the symbols. Bombing wouldnt be allowed.

I just posted this on a different thread but I can answer your question about this Nellis Air Force site.

No one works at this industrial complex, there is no people in the town, there are no real airplanes on the airfields. They are all simulated and only look real from the air where fighter pilots shoot 'em up and blow 'em up. After they attack the targets we are hired to go back to these sites and rebuild them. The simulated towns and targets do not have names. Yes, several targets go into the base of a mountain like the real enemy would do. They will dig tunnels into the mountain for safety. Pilots are then trained how to attack those tunnels and seal the enemy inside. All enemy tactics are trained for by the pilots.
