I found something interesting while browsing the web for random pages. A Catalog of Exoplanets, continuously updated by some Planetary Society.

I was hoping people here on ATS would appreciate a site like this. It gives you all the data you need to speculate yourself wether something could sustain life or not. Although no such planet exists in that archive yet, as it has not been found, it will be included if and once it is found.

And yes, they are planning to keep the achive up to date with all data that comes from Kepler mission.

I just wish they would use a little more imagination when they give names to some of these exoplanets...

They have Large Telescope.
.. Very Large Telescope
.. Very Very Large Telescope
.. (future) Extremely Large Telescope
.. (future) Superiously Gigantic Awesome Telescope

That's ridiculous. The So Ginormous, You Wouldn't Believe It - Telescope or SGYWBIT exists in theory only. Humans will never be able to build it and anyone who suggests so should be publicly ridiculed.
