Seymour Hersh describes assassination ring

www.minnpost.co m

At a “Great Conversations” event at the University of Minnesota last night, legendary investigative reporter Seymour Hersh may have made a little more news than he intended by talking about new alleged instances of domestic spying by the CIA, and about an ongoing covert military operation that he called an “executive assassination ring."

I don't have much to add to this story. I'll leave the analysis and discussion to the community here at ATS.

However, I would like to point out that, in my humble opinion, the idea of hiding a secret assassination taskforce in JSOC could, potentially, not be entirely far-fetched. If you're interested, I recommend in reading up on it.

And finally, apologies for the headline being truncated. Sorry.

Something of this nature is very probable.
I see you point of it not being far-fetched at all.
I wonder if now Seymour would now be on the "red list" ,also.

Perhaps. At the least, we can be sure that somebody isn't going to be pleased with Hersh bringing things like this to sunlight.

The recently leaked memos that detailed the dictatorial plans the administration had in place, coupled with this possible new bombshell from Hersh...I'm really going to need to reassess my thoughts on 9/11, too. It seems like the past administration (and, probably, the current one as well) was willing to go to any lengths to achieve their goals.

I dont know if i would re-think too much.
Just about any term of the office im sure had somewhat of a "star chamber."
As with any country, office, or president, there would have to be some type of death squad to quiet certain things.
What ,if you dont mind me asking, is your stance and what would you re-think?
I wont make an opinion of you no matter what you believe, so please be honest.
Im of the idea that bush was too "out of the loop" to really have a hand in any of 9-11, and something was conspired behind him.
I also beleive it was an inner part of our quasi-government, independent of most politicians and parties.
I have a hard time beleiving 19 guys pulled all that off.
And a really hard time digesting all the inconsistencies of the omission report, i.e. the war games, the unburned passport, no video or pics of the pentagon plane, towers falling straight down....

I used to generally fall in with the "LIHOP" mindset, and that the administration (who were no more than a front for a deeper-rooted cabal, much like the current one) merely used 9/11 to advance their purposes.

However, in light of many recent events, I'm starting to truly believe that the whole thing could have been orchestrated by some group within the American elite. I'm not sure who, exactly, was 'in' on it, though. Perhaps Bush knew about it. Perhaps not.

BACK ON TOPIC:
To anybody's knowledge, has news about this appeared anywhere in the corporate media yet? It wouldn't surprise me if this is kept quiet as long as it can, or if they begin to try to discredit Hersh.

Yeah I saw it on Olberman last night too. Its funny Olberman will bring up Bush's constitutional flaws but yet doesnt hold accountable Obama to change those flaws... Yes I flip back and forth between Olberman and Oreilly so I can hear the two party crime family dig the dirt on eachother.
