All Members: What are your top-ten conspiracy theories of all time?

Hello everyone...

I'm working on a new project intended to condense the collective knowledge and opinion of ATS members and contributions over the years into an official summary of sorts... our own top-ten list if you will.

The goal is to work together to define what ATS members consider to be the top-ten conspiracy theories (both speculative and proven) of all time. The finished piece will be an ATS thread summarizing each conspiracy theory, with links to the major threads on ATS that cover the various angles of each. When we're finished, we'll have an excellent "beginner's guide to conspiracy theory" for our new visitors and other interested parties.

Here's how it will work...

In this thread, I'm asking for each member to give me your top-three conspiracy theories over the next seven days. One or two links to ATS threads covering the conspiracy would be nice, but not needed. After we have your input, I'll compile the submissions into a master list of the top-30 (or more if needed) submissions from our members.

Once the master list of conspiracy theories has been compiled, we'll put them all together in a poll, allowing everyone to vote for the top-ten theories. The ten theories with the most votes will be used for the final article.


So... that being said... what are the top-three historic and contemporary conspiracies theories you feel are most important?

The obvious is Sept 11
Then J.F.K
Aliens and ufos.

Those are the ones that come to my mind.

From what I read on here these seem to tie in to any "conspiracy most members come up with.

My top three Conspiracy Theories are:

1. 9/11 - Was the Bush Admin involved?

2. Roswell/UFO's

3. President Kennedy Assassination

Top three conspiracy theories:

1) 911 was an inside job (I consider this one proven).

2) Dr Mary's Monkey (the book, about New Orleans biotech, the spread of cancer in vaccines and the engineering of AIDS, I consider this one not proven but plausible)

3) Chemtrails (I consider this one almost proven).

And a very close fourth comes the whole debacle with the UFO coverup, which I consider too confusing and widespread, widereaching, to make into just one conspiracy theory, as it seems to be several conspiracies mixed in with the movements of actual alien races, so there isn't really a focal point where one conspiracy would be able to find solid ground. For this reason alone I did not list it.

I know a lot of people will not like me putting JFK above 9-11. The reason I put it above the attacks is that even though there was no internet or data transfer for the "theory" to spread/survive, it's still here.

6. Moon Landing
7. The Terra Papers
8. Bilderberg meetings
9. Illuminati
10. Population Control

Also OK. City, and Waco also Ruby Ridge though not as imortant as the others.

I would like to list the series of conspiracies leading to the crusifiction of Jesus as perhaps THE most known and discussed single conspiracies.

Further the conspiracy of Saul Paulus that lead to the execution of all but one of Jesju's disciples and the continuance of it through the Church until this day of hiding the truth around the crusifiction and the undermining of Jesju's message, through removing the focus from Jesju to Saul Paulus in order to make nearly all Christians into believing their crap, while completely ignoring the message of Jesju.

Further Rosswell is widely known and should count in.
