not to be a debbie downer, but in that last image they looked like a bunch of yellow balloons to me. The objects look pretty high up there, how were you able to see it so clearly with your naked eye? And yet we have to use digital imaging software to enhance the image that we can just barely make it out?

Beat me to it.

The way each little part is separated makes me think it is a cluster of round objects, probably balloons tied together.

I saw it because it was bright, like a star or something. I started taking pictures because unlike balloons (which is what I thought at first, too) the object was just there, immobile in the sky. Then I started taking pix and it went DOWN towards the clouds. Apart from that kind of strange movements, the lines or pairs or whatever kept making little formations. And upon closer inspection, the four lines do look like they're made up of pairs. But these things were moving around with a purpose.

wow are you really comparing a group of colorful balloons that only move upward to light-emitting shapes that floated freely around in the sky and kept making strange formations WITHIN the group formation?

I'm sorry but all we have for that is your word on the internet, which doesn't mean much anymore.

I'm just looking at the photos you provided, and they look like balloons.

Your story may be true, but in the event that it isn't, I'm pretty sure they are photos of a lost bunch of balloons.

I know all this ufo stuff has to be taken with a grain of salt, but if you look carefully at the photos, I don't see how it could just be balloons floating around.

Look at the difference between the first pic (which looks kinda like a head over an equal sign) and the second one (which looks like the "pairs" are making diagonal lines). Also, each pair has space between the next one down, and I dont know of any balloons that are tied like that.

I'm just reporting what I saw, and I wish ANYONE would take it seriously. I really think it's some other-dimensional being looking down at us, and I came to the last place I thought I'd be called crazy for my ideas.

I used to live in Tucson, Arizona and also saw a couple UFO type things (one incidence, 2 objects). They looked to me like tin cans that had been twisted. The way you first described these reminded me of what I saw. The objects you have photos of (not balloons imo) are brighter than what I saw but similar in shape.

The things I saw were DEFINITELY controlled and in communication, as one would move then stop, then the other would come near it, then one moved incredibly quickly up and out of site, then the other followed.

There also happened to be a U2 plane flying around which is what caused me to look up in the first place.

This was in Summertime, 1998 I believe, in case anyone is tracking.

By the way, zooming in on your pictures shows darker, shaded areas in the center with symmetrical lighter areas around, indicating to me at least, that there is a larger object and not a group of smaller objects.

Not to sound rude but they look like gummy bear candy. Really, its too small to make anything out of it and when enlarged its too blurry.

Thanks for posting your pics. It is certainly very strange. I have no idea what it may be. I will say they look nothing like balloons to me. S & F.

At first I didn't see what you or anyone else saw, but yea the shading in the middle kinda makes it look as if they paired up and moved around their "pair" while the "group" either stayed immobile or floated around.

And I'm pretty sure it was trying to stay hidden, because the 3 times i take my camera out while it was in the blue of sky it just started bobbing down towards the clouds. Idk if it was a coincidence or not, but it did give me something to think about..

thats the second time i see a ufo over catalina mountains here (great view from my window) and looking into it, i see others have sightings around that area as well.
I wanna catch one!! >.< lol
