I got it! THIS is when the governments of the world will release what they know about ufo's/aliens!

Another possibility is that if the Government has ET craft and has learned to utilize its technology then wouldn't they have interstellar capabilities? If so then why would they want the public to know that? You think they would actually let us leave this rock? They would loose all control.

You must have been sleeping under a rock again when another poster asked what events would lead up the extermination of billions of people. I answered it for him. You obviously aren't grasping the jist of what is being discussed here so... Maybe you should go check out some of those interesting CERN threads you've been talking about.

No I don’t. I believe that there could well be some people in power who are highly conscious of themselves being the product of centuries of political and military thinking. They would see themselves as promoting the correct path for humanity, and ultimately their own ends, and would work tirelessly to see those ideals come to fruition.

That does not make them evil, it is simply their opinion in action.

Wouldn’t you want everyone to believe in the Bible? Don’t you bring up your religion in conversation? Well, that’s your opinion in action too. It’s just that their actions are more effective.

Evil is, regrettably, a matter of opinion.

And thinking logically; why would they want to decimate the planet? The sci-fi image of an "evil" overlord ruling over a scorched and depopulated planet is farcical. Those who seek power by force would want to enjoy the spoils of their conquests. They would not want to have to avoid vast stretches of the world for the next 200 or so years until the radiation dissipates and the bodies rot and plant life begins to re-establish itself.

No I don’t believe it is the word of God. It’s the word of man seeking power through the fear of God's word. There’s a difference.

You need to ask yourself what the purpose is of having doomsday devices such as HAARP, biological weapons, nuclear missiles etc. More than enough to cause great death upon the ENTIRE world, and you don't think any of these devices that are controlled by pure evil won't ever be unleashed on the world to that extent? If you don't, I truly feel sorry for you.

When the gun was introduced into medieval warfare, it was considered by the knightly ruling classes to be unchivalrous and cowardly. It wasn’t until the realization dawned that having explosive projectile armaments was necessary to stop your armies being annihilated by those who did have them, that guns became common place. They were then looked on as vital.

This constant advancement in the field of weaponry is not evil, but the product of two of our very human traits; the need to survive, and the want to conquer. They are both interlinked.

But anyways, you keep waiting for your trusting government that cares about you to tell you everything they know about aliens and ufo's.

Placatory rhetoric and unfulfilled promises and unpleasant decisions are really all we are getting from the government in Ireland. This is not to be unexpected as they are in a situation that has been brought about by bad management and plain greed. And in these present times, the last thing they are considering is UFO disclosure as people and jobs are far more important.

You know, there was a thread on ATS once where the poster was happily surmising as to just what scenario would end the world. He actually used the phrase “my favorite one would be…”

It was obvious he had already given up on mankind and was just going to sit back and take it.

Yes, I mean "best fit". That does not imply knowledge of ET life.

Anybody who says they can confirm ET life better come equipped with some heavy duty, rock hard, balls so big I need a suit case to walk to the bathroom evidence.

To state that the ETH is the best fit simply means we do not have enough evidence to make a conclusion.

You seem to seek a conspiracy where there is none.

Im not talking about sueing the government, Im talking about getting it sorted so that a tax payer can use information the government has , without anything held back. If the government have secrets, well frankly in a democratic country , they've no business keeping them.
If I want to know everything they know , all thier research, all thier files on UFO , strange unexplained occurances and the like, I feel that I ought to be able to access an undoctored version of those files. I believe it ought to be the right of every man woman and child , to observe the sum of all human knowlege where ever possible. We cannot learn if we are not allowed to study.
