Not sure if this has been posted but it was one interview that had me setting up. What honesty, directness, and courage this guy has. Look carefully at who he is when you assess his perspective.

I'd like to know what he said but I am sure not going to click a youtube link and definately not going to Huffington Post.

So what am I supposed to comment on?

Quoting a portion of the story, and catching the readers interest will get you alot more replies.

That reflects real well on you. You are not willing to hear what the other side has to say because it comes from aliberal rather than conservative source. Oh brother! what a world we live in.

He pretty much says how the current republican party has lost it's head. If you read it, you could post why you don't agree. Although I'm sure someone will start 20 topics saying it says something which it does not.

I'm sorry but if someone starts a post it should have enough information in it to decide if it is worth looking into. Not "here is a link tell me what you think." This is a message board...isn't it?

Posting a video is great....but give the reader a reason to look at it. Quote something from it. He also mentioned Huffington Post....great....once again post a quote from the article.

Great video! Thanks for posting.

I'm not a religious guy...but much of what he says is correct....I don't agree that you should automatically support a president's policies however...although I do want this country to recover...i just don't think what is being done now is going to work.

He is dead right about the last 8 years though.

It seems like you are just being another Bush supporter making an argument with material that has nothing to do with the topic. You wrote a bunch of stuff that doesn't make an argument for anything, typical Bush League response, no facts to make a counter point, just ideological blabber. You guys need someone with an education and some historical facts to make arguments for your side.

bias in the media is a proven fact. i am sick of people who have a differing viewpoint is suppose to be stupid. its always illterate, or you need to be more educated.

they gave money to the president- news organizations should not be giving money to them-because when they "make" the news and not report the news its not credible

liberals are suppose to be open minded and i have not seen any(guess that was a misconception)

what makes your opinion so better than mine?

no bush supporter attacks a liberal like liberals do bush supporters.

frank s was selling a book-publicity what sells? antibush

i dont need to put down others to try to make myself feel superior-we are all equal.

if ats became a zombie site with everyone having the same views-you'd get bored.

Until the Republican party boots the religious right to the side they will not win elections. This guys sums it up quite well in saying most of these people are uneducated lower class white trash. Yes I said it and yes Im white but I actually am educated and understand our foundations of our country and history. Now notice I didnt call the people unAmerican because although they are uneducated they still have their views of how America should be and they are allowed to have them. They are just as American as me they are just a little more uninformed. When Republicans wake up to their roots and actually live by them by action you will not see the Republicans lose another election.

Perhaps it's not their viewpoint that makes them look stupid.

There are other factors in stupid.

[Y]ou Republican leaders had a unique last chance to send a patriotic message of unity to the world -- and to all Americans. You could have backed our president's economic recovery plan. Since we all know that half of our problem is one of lost confidence and perception, nothing would have done more to calm the markets and project resolve and confidence than if you had been big enough to take Obama's offered hand and had work with him -- even if you disagreed ideologically. You had the chance to put our country first. You utterly failed to rise to the occasion.

Juxtapose this remark by Schaffer with this one today by GOP Rep. Patrick McHenry

“We will lose on legislation. But we will win the message war every day, and every week, until November 2010,” said Rep. Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., an outspoken conservative who has participated on the GOP message teams. “Our goal is to bring down approval numbers for [Speaker Nancy] Pelosi and for House Democrats. That will take repetition. This is a marathon, not a sprint.”

source

Schaffer calls it like it is. He speaks the power of truth to those men and women, so insecure and selfish, who would stoop to the lowest level, bringing a nation down with them. What do these people do when they get a flat tire...refuse to fix it and then go deflate the other tires in response?

I don't buy that for one minute, it isn't the democrats that hate gays, it isn't the democrats who have fought civil rights, it isn't the democrats who do voter suppression. What group are the democrats against in society? It's republicans that are against programs that are designed to help the poor, they want no part of taxes that grow the country or heaven forbid help the very poor live a base line existence. At the soul level of the parties, the democrats are concerned about the village, all the people and the republicans worry about the individual to the detriment of society. So you can think that the democrats are as bad and you can find plenty of examples to bolster this perspective, but at the soul level of the two parties and the individuals that make up those parties, the democrats are the more caring of the two, the more kind and gentle of the two. Christ would have given a begger the cloths off his back and the food off his plate, but republicans are simply not that kind of species. They don't like contributing to the common good one little bit. The hate on the republican side is aimed at whole groups in society, and that tells you something. You can only find hateful remarks from democrats that are aimed at individuals for their positions on issues from the other parties but you can point to many examples of republicans hating whole groups of people.

It will always be that way because some people think that they are more important than society as a whole. Once we start making policy that acts in the best interest of society as a whole, then we will be on the correct path. We need to use achievement as the basis of wealth, instead of having wealth itself became the achievement. The latter has caused an awful lot of people to do what was counteractive to society.

pappie i am sorry but i still disagree .

we as a country or a individual becomes dependent of the government for everything in our lives this country is lost

there is only one thing
there is only one entity
there is only one person we can truly count on to cloth us, feed us, to house us-that is yourself.

what ever happened to working for what one has? the problem with what your saying is that eventually your gonna run out of other peoples money.

i bet your worked your butt off to get have what you got, the other problem with this is : something given to you has no value.

also i bet your proud of what you do have and the democratic party didnt give it to you- you did.

That video was nothing more then an 8 minute long hate speech. He started slow and before long it turned into an avalanche of hate. The guy was going so fast he could barely paused to take a breath.
