There's something i'd like to share: i think that this is a must for all those who play (or simply love) guitar:
His version of "Africa" toto

the original one:

I hear the drums echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
Shes coming in 12:30 flight
The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation
I stopped an old man along the way
Hoping to find some long forgotten words or ancient melodies
He turned to me as if to say, hurry boy, its waiting there for you

Chorus:
Its gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
Theres nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had

The wild dogs cry out in the night
As they grow restless longing for some solitary company
I know that I must do whats right
Sure as kilimanjaro rises like olympus above the serengeti
I seek to cure whats deep inside, frightened of this thing that Ive become

Chorus

(instrumental break)

Hurry boy, shes waiting there for you

Its gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
Theres nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in africa, I bless the rains down in africa
I bless the rains down in africa, I bless the rains down in africa
I bless the rains down in africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had

In my humble opinion, this guy is AMAZING. What he is able to do is not ordinary in my opinion, and anyway he's worthy to be watched:

Yeah I posted his videos in the mood music topic months ago.

He is a guitar prodigy. The best acoustic player I've seen.

Check out all his videos. Every song is flawless.

Yeah, Internos Andy is great. You should explore his style of playing and you will find a whole arena filled with clever and gifted players doing similar things. Check out Don Ross, Tommy Emmanuel, etc.

I have played since I was 5 and play out often in the local bars and whatnot around here. I even cover a few of Andy's songs. Since it became so hard to find a damn singer that would let it all hang out, I got more and more into fingerpicking style. That way I could strum in the corner of a bar or restaurant without missing the opportunity because I couldn't scratch up a singer. I helped that I studied and played classical guitar for years, which not only helped in the manual dexterity department, but forced you to understand music theory as well.

Here are a few of my favorites that should not be overlooked (youtube vids). Some are classical guys just goofing off, but I do tend to lean that way I guess....

Don Ross
Jacques Storm
Jacques Storm again....love this cover! Must Listen!!
Sungha - starts plain, but listen and he's good
Trace Bundy GnR Cover
Tommy Emmanuel
Michael Chapdelaine MUST WATCH AMAZING

And some jazz player that lives down the street from me, I have the pleasure of seeing him often and it is always a treat:

Scotty Anderson Sweet G'Brown

If any of these wet your tastes just do a youtube search with their name in it and you will be rewarded by hours of entertainment!

Jerry

Ah yes, I have seen this guys videos before. I am not really a guitar player but this style of playing is so cool and intruiging.

Come to think of it, if you have ever seen the movie August Rush the boy plays like that in the movie.

Andy Mckee is the best!! He has inspired me to be a better guitarist. His music doesn't need words. When he plays, you can always hear the message he is conveying. I could listen to him all day.
