Sounds like the government has been monitoring your activities on ATS.

Seems they don't like what they have been seeing.

Was nice knowing you, hope your families life insurance is all in order.

Keep a camera with you and start taking pictures of them.

Also put your video cam if you have one pointing out the window and turn it on, and you web cam as well... they dont know they are not recording..

maby buy some dummy security cameras and put them up around the house...

Let them know you are watching them as well and have proof...

if they are out to rob it, they will think twice...

if its the govt they should back off as well, thinking you have documentation.

I'd say govt though, while burglers are known to case places, risking getting seen to take a photo is not a good option.

Also next time you see them Make sure to remember the license plate number, there are many sites on line here in the U.S. that you can trace who's car it is by that.. maby there is something there as well. and if nothing else you will have a little more to go on if anything happens to your house.

I had that once when i lived in Alabama, they kept driving by at odd times, So i put a stop to that... Grabbed a rocking chair and the shot gun and a six pack and sat on the front porch wating,... eventualy they showed up... So i put down the beer, picked up the shot gun, walked to the edge of the porch and smiled at them... never came back.

Ok, do what I would do...check your AK and make sure you have a few 40 round clips ready to go, then load you assult shotgun with OO buck for that close up "crap hits the fan" stuff. That way you can shoot through doors walls...cars...

Uh wait your not in the US.....sorry you are toast...

You could always post a sign in front of your house that says..

''BEWARE Burglars WILL be DISMEMBERED and fed to pigs to dispose of body''

I don't mean to scare but...

I've been having similar incidents.
ever since I've joined ATS, I have been seeing odd cars and people in my condo development.

Sometimes when I'm smoking a cigarette at my window, which faces the entrance to the complex and a busy street, I see cars come in fast then slow down, and sometimes stop when they near my building.

The strangest thing I've seen so far...
I sometimes peer out my window with my binoculars, and just watch the people in the cars driving down the main street, when I'm bored.
And one day I noticed, about 600 yards away, a car parked, and saw a guy in the car looking at me with binoculars!
I tell you, I jumped up and closed my blinds and locked my door!

Could of been a average joe, but, odd nonetheless.

Keep your eyes open! and good luck!

Here in the USA real estate agents go around and photograph houses that might be comparables to ones that they have listed for sale. It helps the banks to establish a homes true value for the lending process.

Unfortunate that you can't arm yourself with firearms out there.
I would go along with the previous suggestions, and also if you are able to, keep some kind of bludgeon in every room of the house.....something with some distance, i'm not sure what a cricket bat is called but as I am an American, I would keep a wooden bat around the house....Don't forget, aluminum pipe wrenches(for easier swing-a-bility+distance), a shovel, pitchfork, something that will give you plenty of heft and distance....lead pipe, something of that nature. And if you don't have a guard dog, i would recommend purchasing one. Mutts are just as good as any purebred as long as you train them well. Nailguns/Stapleguns work as a detterant as well. Use your imagination, virtually anything can be used for self-defense if placed in a particular position just in case, because you may not have any kind of warning.

Yep, that sounds like the real estate agents I know!
Seriously, let the police know and they can at least increase the patrols in your area.
Stay safe bro.

It might be worth setting up a neighbourhood watch scheme with some of your neighbours.

At the very least, swap phone numbers with a few people so you can alert each other to anything suspicious.

Interesting, maby we need to start a thread and see how many photos we can get and how much info we can get and see if ats members are indeed being watched.
Personaly i have my webcam sitting in the front window, its great, hear a car pull up, flip windows and see who is there...
I have not noticed anyone, but have not realy been looking..

But for the OP i'm prity sure once they know you are watching them they will back off. the previous post about allerting the local police is a good idea as well. Just to be safe, and you have more documentation in case anything did happen.

It could be nothing, or it could be something, better to feel like a fool than wish you had done something.

That's a great idea! I'm going set up my webcam on my windowsill.

Talk to your dad about it and see what he suggests. Sounds like he may know what's going on or at least may have resources that you don't have that could help.

As one poster said, rig up some cameras, get a sticker for one of the
Alarm companies, etc etc.

Make it look like an easier target would be better off for them.

Here in the US we also start neighborhood watches and ppl keep
an eye out for cars and ppl that do not belong.

Get some hand held weapons like a piece of pipe, aluminum baseball
bat or roofing hammer.

Think of items in the house that will work as an emergency door
barricade, and same for windows.

Due to a break-in at my house here all my windows to my backyard
are now screwed shut, and boarded over.

Front and back door is reinforced frame made fromlayers of plywood
so you can't kick my door open. I have a 2 x 8 drop bar too that
is latched in place so you cant pry it up with a slim jim.

Good idea that.

You can get them pretty cheap at Dick Smiths.

Your probably right and they might be planning to rob you.

Watch out for calls to your house, they do this to figure out when your not going to be in. It may not be just your home so warn your neighbours. Get a timed lamp. Don't buy a gun. If they wanted to rob you while your in your home then they would have done that by now. Sounds like professional thieves not some desperate druggy with a shank. Still, I hope you stay safe.

i agree not to try to scare the op but if they are there to break in and have been caught watching, there is something specific they are after.
a common thug would of just waited till you left and broke in.

if you have a friend that lives close and see them again go text them to get their video cameras and record, they will be focused on you not them, maybe you can get footage of them to take to the cops

edit: for bad one handed typing, my lil boy is sleeping on my chest and other arm.
