Did Johann Ernst Elias Bessler invent perpetual motion machine?

Just finished reading this very interesting article on his machine and thought I would link it here.

It is a very interesting read.

I still believe that it is impossible to create one with our current technology.

looks like we were so close to having such limitless tech , but we just missed out . damn

Its the mechanical equivalent of the arrangement of coils touted
as over unity or free energy but remains in oscillation for a
very long time and would not be able to provide much more
work than the initial battery or the initial or sum total of all the
weights in the case of the wheel.

The touted coil arrangement is all the Nazi saucer promoters can
come up with for power and no where near the voltage that Tesla
could have provided in such an endeavor.
