Springboard, appears to be a flash player of some sorts, I can't locate a trace of it on my end, but when I go to the media section of ATS, not a single video can load.

Instead, I get this springboard loading bar, then it shows the title of the file I'm trying to watch, Playing 00:00 of 00:00.

Not a single video on ATS works now.

Videos on other flash content sites work fine, youtube, google video etc.

I went to the website for springboard, can't find anything other than them telling me it's a advertising front-end to flash players.

Great.

Anyone else not able to watch ATS media? Instead just staring at a black "springboard" square?

I figured out how to correct my video problems.

I use Kasperskey Internet Security 2009 and I had to enter the following:

http://media.abovetopsecret.com/*

http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/*

http://cms.springboard.gorillanation.com/*

In:

Settings > Anti-Malware > Web Traffic Settings > Trusted URL's

After doing that I had to clear my Firefox cache and restart firefox. Then the videos would play for me.

K.L.,

I also have Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and have all the setting on max security, however, I have not has to add ATS url's to view any video's, from ATS or anywhere else.

Don't get me wrong, whatever works for ya, but just saying I have the same and don't.
(admittedly, I am currently running windows 7), but I never had any issues with XP or Vista (yes, I have a drive with it).

I do use safari 3, currently 4 for my browsing.

Yeah, issue resolved...

Apparently this springboard front end video tool is unable to warn when content is unavailable.

It looks like the host server was lagged down, and the springboard media tool was unable to alert me to it.

Seems like a basic issue that should generate an error... but for some reason the springboard programmers didn't feel the need to incorporate a warning when content was unavailable... instead, leaving you staring at a blank screen with 00:00 of 00:00 at the bottom, not knowing if it's the player or the content that's at fault.
