Gibbs takes swipe at Cramer

www.politico.com

During today's briefing, NBC correspondent Tom Costello -- who previously worked at CNBC -- asked Robert Gibbs about the latest criticism from CNBC's Jim Cramer.

On NBC's Today show this morning, Cramer talked about Obama's "radical agenda" and said that his administration's economic policies amount to the "greatest wealth destructive I've seen by a President"

Jim Cramer has openly said he is a registered Democrat, and even was a supporter of Obama, and now he's turning on him after seeing his budget proposal, as are various other Obama followers. Has Obama shot himself in the foot by relieving too much of his hand? Since when do President attack private citizens for their opinions anyhow? People called Bush tons of names, even called for his death, but he never attacked them for it. This administration is headed down a slippery slope if you ask me.

I read the full article and watched both videos associated with the article and I didn't see where Gibbs attacked Jim Cramer at all. I did see where Gibbs said he didn't know enough about Cramer's comments to really say anything direct about it, and that was a responsible answer. I also saw where Gibbs said you can take any number of things Cramer said and see how he could back up that information. Jim Cramer is a talking head who happens to comment on the stock market, and he's wrong about as often as he is right.

I don't do much investing but my Father is more or less obsessed with trading stocks. In the circles that he plays in, nobody listens to a word Cramer says. Just because he has a show doesn't mean he knows what's he's talking about every time.

I'm sorry, I didn't see any attacks on Cramer by the administration here.

As a stock and options trader myself, your father is more or less right, that very few listen to him as it relates to day trades, but Cramer has pointed out good policies that should be adopted, and screamed at the top of his lungs about the Federal Reserve before this crisis hit full steam. As far as the attacks, you'd have to be blind not to see the slight of hand the Obama PR team has been pulling on any attack on their policies. They underhandedly attack the intelligence of the attacker, such as Santelli or Cramer, or anyone who opposes their rather radical agenda. Just because a man is wrong sometimes doesn't mean he is always wrong, and in this instance he is right. The budget Obama has proposed is preposterous, and you'd more or less have to have your head shoved up Obama's ass not to see it. I have seen many of my Obama supporting friends turn their back on him after his attacks on investors.

whatever happened to private citizens? it is sad that gibb's keeps deflecting obama's major failure in one month and puts the attention on private citizens that call him out.

Cramer
Joe the plumber
limbaugh
Santelli

private citizens are now being attacked by obama and his goons because he is trying to implement socialism and they are ruining his chances.
