a march in Washington DC is always difficult to schedule. especially since this time it isn't so much young people who are protesting. I'd rather see the marches happen in every state capital or even every large city. a lot of us were around for the 60's and have done it before.

The answer to that is.. its almost dismal.

When you have 250,000 protestors in Washington DC in front of the whitehouse then you will give them something they cannot sweep under the carpet.

Yeah but lets be fair. America is a huge country. It takes a plane ticket or a lot of gas and several days to get to Washington. If you are one of those people who have lost their jobs and are falling behind on all your bills how are you going to get there? If you are one of those who still has their job and is barely scraping by, how are you going to get the time off to make such a trip?

In the UK, nothing is more than one days drive. Here in the US, lots of places are. Including the three hardest hit states, California, Florida and Nevada.

We crashed Congress' servers protesting the bailout. Email is cheaper than a plane ticket. Two major things were different in those days. One, we werent dirt poor and losing our homes in record numbers. Two, the media was actually covering the protests so the word spread.

There have been protests, and they are largely ignored by the MSM. Its hard to get the word out if hardly anyone will report it. Maybe people would quit their jobs and drive all the way across the country if they knew a million other people were planning to show up. We wont know because the word would not be spread effectively.

One of the really bad things about letting media become concentrated in a very few corporate hands is that they dont air stories that might incite people to protest against the corporate agenda.

This is true, the MSM does not report whats going on or it's so played down to the point that nothing is happening and/or if they even report it.

So what do they have...well the Fed's got the phone lines and all it takes is a keyword and I'm thinking if they wish could block all key words disconnecting the party line. Lets give them a hand, on a particular date and time everyone calls someone else and repeat the keywords, that will overload their systems.

And what do we have left...the internet, as soon as they get the Internet 2 in place, they will have all bases covered by monitoring Emails, websites, blogs, chatrooms, and yes even internet phones. We need an Encryption system that has not been cracked yet, if possible.

There is HAM radio but they already got your number when you applied for a License.

what we need is MASS communication.
