Past and Present Technology

I've always wondered how would today's society be like if we didn't have any of the technology we presently do.
Like me, I CAN NOT be without my computer and cell phone. We (society) really so much on technology that we leave out the actual common sense of things.

I mean, going back to the cave man era where did they not have light or power, woooow, that is scary for me.

What do you guys think about this? How would life be TODAY if we didn't have the technology that we have and would have the technology that was around 1,000 years ago?
