Incorrect...or rather this is only a theory...an unfounded myth. There are many other myths.

Most Mason Lodges only follow 3.

Lodges only confer 3-degrees, but the Scottish Rite is not the only thing to Freemasonry. The Master Mason, the 3rd degree, is the highest degree in Freemasonry. The Templar continuation myths are just that...myths.

with their 13 degrees.

What 13 degrees? And what does this have to do with the Scottish Rite? I always love absurd math. Just make up numbers as you go along and call it a theory.

These images are not proof of anything other than the opinions of the artist(s). As to the structure images, they don't always give the most accurate depiction of Freemasonry and it's appendant/concordant bodies.

Here's my rendition: i93.photobucket.com...

I am missing a few I'm sure, but I'm not going to update this picture until I have more free time.

Yes, I'm very familiar with the layout of the York Rite and Scottish Rite, but they are not the only rites out there. These are just the most two prominent ones in the US; there are plenty more than just those two.

You should also note that Super Excellent Master is not conferred in every jurisdiction nor is it a prerequisite to advance into the Knights Templar nor office within the Cryptic Rite. Also note that in America at least the Royal Ark Mariner is attached to the Allied Masonic Degrees. "Order of St. Paul" is preparatory ceremony to the Order of Malta and not considered separate.

The names of the Scottish Rite degrees and under which body they fall varies depending on jurisdiction (in the US there are two: NJ and SJ).

Sort of, but not really. Any man who believes in a Supreme Being, may join. There are plenty of "higher powers" that aren't the "Supreme Being". That means that those who believe in subordinate deities like Satan, or Neptune, or Saturn, or Isis, or any of the others cannot join. They must believe in the supreme deity (God, Allah, Budda, etc).

...Go back to the murder of Hiram Abiff if you need to understand the concept.

The murder of Hiram Abiff has no basis in historical fact, and therefore isn't researchable really. While Hiram Abiff is mentioned in the bible, he is mentioned only once in passing, and it merely says they he was tradesman - there is no mention that he was a "master" craftsman or foreman with "secrets", and there is no mention of him actually being murdered; that part is merely part of a Masonic allegory.

Interesting. Where did the 13 come from? Creative math at best, and you're jumping to a wild conclusion based on questionable data.

I could also say that if you take the 33 degrees of the Scottish Rite and multiply by 20 and then add 6, you get 666. So what?
