No he didn't. Bush spent more, still. Also Bush spent it on Halliburton, Oil Companies, his buddies, and a search for WMDs that he knew weren't there because Dick Cheney forged the documents.

While I agree with everything he's said about the Liberal agenda, the Conservative agenda is not exactly constitutional either.

I just want you to know.... Bush was not a true Conservative, as he has shown... blatantly.

Honestly, he betrayed every true Conservative. Listen to Ron Paul's latest speech, and he defines what the Conservative agenda is REALLY about! www.abovetopsecret.com...

...I am so proud of him. But, also don't much care for Rush Limbaugh.

And to add, thanks for the Ronald Reagan speech!

Sneaking this in here: ... Bush and Obama are BOTH NEOCONS...(shhh.. don't tell anyone)

i was going to bring up the bush isnt a conservative comment, but it would have went to deaf ears because people actually think he is. spending 800 billion dollars under the republican name is not conservative, it is liberal.

Ya Reagan wasn't very conservative by that standard now was he?
The modern deficit was firmly started by the great communicator. Second worst presidential economic performance in modern US history.

You guys have no success because the whole thing is a scam to make the rich richer.

Most people fall in the middle somewhere between conservative and liberal. I myself wouldn't want either label on me and definately don't ever want a democratic or republican label on me. I'd be too embarressed to tell people that I belonged to either party! The worse thing about it is that both sides hurl insults at one another constantly. You see it in the news, on the radio, in person and on these boards.

Rush is a joke. He's basically a comedian. An on air personality who's job is to provoke controversy. He is insulting and offensive and the world will be a better place when he's gone from it.

As for Obama's policies on the economy...they didn't differ much from what Bush had already put in motion and don't kid yourself that McCain would have done anything radically different if he'd been elected. Sure maybe..and that's a big maybe..some of the pork would have been eliminated ...but ask yourself how much and which pork?

Wait a minute, smaller government? Less spending? Is he talking about the Bush Administration? They expanded government to a size never seen before. They spent more money then every president combined for the first 200+ years of this nations existence! Where was he when Bush was doing all this? Oh that's right getting caught at an airport with viagra after coming back from a nation known for child prostitution.

^ obama spent more than every president combined too, in less than a month of his inauguration even beating Bush out

I know your a young buck... but just because you want something to be true, does not make it so.

Double Whammy: 50-Year Record on Sept. 22. $10 Trillion on Sept. 30, 2008.
The gross national debt compared to GDP (how rich we are) reached its lowest level since 1931 as Reagan took office in 1981. It skyrocketed for 12 years through Bush senior. Clinton reversed it at a peak of 67%. Bush junior crossed that line on Sept. 22 and hit 69% on Sept 30. That's the highest it's been since 1955. (sources)
Bush did three things to skyrocket the debt from $5.7 trillion to $10 trillion:
1. He lowered taxes on the rich (by far the biggest item).

and stealing from the rich to give to the poor is just as fair right? there wouldnt be a country if everyone had money because no one would work for it. liberals only see two types of people in the world, victims and enemies.

Stealing from the rich? How is making a rich person pay the same tax rate as their secretary stealing? How is making a rich person pay taxes on money that normally would go in to an offshore account so no taxes would be paid stealing? How is making rich people actually pay their fair share stealing? Also, rich people get more welfare then poor people. Corporate Welfare for things like golf tees and concerts and crap like that. Or the best part? Medicaid! That's right, rich people use Medicaid! Why? Why does a millionaire need Medicaid? I guess the same reason McCain needs his SS Check even though he and his wife are millionaires.
