Video of alleged deputy assault released

No excuse? No, not necessarily an excuse. But whatever reason the deputy had for doing what he did? IMHO, I am sure he had a decently valid reason. A cop doesn't go ballistic against someone just for trash talking. I know this from personal experience. Like I said before. The cop is wrong by assaulting the young girl--it is the girl's parents whom he should inflict bodily harm to for conducting bull# half-assed parenting.

What exactly is that cop's idea of what a 'man' is, because he sure isn't one.

This video should be shown on a prescheduled and highly advertised "TV special" during prime time, the second part of which would be the public castration of this pig so that he can not pass on his genes to humanity any further. Since this fellow thinks he's a big brave man for treating a little girl like that, he must, absolutely must have his testicles removed... because he's giving real men everywhere a bad name.

Yes this Officers record is questionable. But his shooting was deemed justifiable. The DUI, is bad, and yes he was penalized for that.

What do you all think officers are not, human, have no emotion ect.

I really would love to get all the facts behind this arrest,as well this girls past history as well, But moreso the audio of the video.

I've spent some time in jail and CO's pulling one guy from him cell, and bringing him out of the unit, where no one can see and giving him a 2 minute beating was commonplace. Most of the guys came back with minor bruises, maybe a bruised rib or wat have you, but most all of them would say, damn I think I should have respected those men instead of spitting in thier face.

I know this is a poor comparison ,but what was said, to these officers we'll never know. But Ilearned quickly the best things to say to CO's and.or police is Yes Sir/No sir. I've done that since i was young, and was always treated with respect back.

But believe me I'm am not trying to rationalize this cops actions, but please calling for this mans Death?? Again, how low are we as a society going.

What if it was the same situation but the officer was a female. Would you still be calling for death???

Sheesh so now slamming a 15 yr old girl into a wall and smacking her in the back of the head twice, then lifting her up by her hair can get you put to death? That's how you see it? Thats the world you really want to live in?

We don't even have half the facts. Why she was arrested, whats her rap sheet, what was she saying to the officers, did she resist arrest, assault an officer in the process, who knows?

It says this same officer has been investigated twice before, once for killing somebody. Chances are he's been doing this kind of thing for a while and this is the first time he's been able to be charged. Definitely a pattern of violence, and who knows how many people he's killed? Of course, if you can't prove it he didn't really do it, like OJ.

LOL, if that's stellar I'd hate to run into someone with a checkered career. We all know how those shooting investigations go. Plant a piece, say he was going for the gun, it's all good. Just because it was ruled 'justified' is no reason to think that it actually was. Two investigations plus this incident in eight years tells me the guy is not 'stellar'.

I find it interesting that they release this media to the public. I get a sense that certain powers are trying to stir the population up into a against the system mentality.

Kill this pig. Execution is the order of the day. Flame me all you want. My father was a cop for 26 years. Its time for this crap to stop. Maybe if someone kills a cop and can prove it was self defense, this kind of crap would stop. BTW this is SOP in King County, Wa. This kind of crap happens every day to adult and juvenile inmates in the King County Correction Centers. I'd rather go to prison than King County Jail.

Wow this video disgusts me. That officer needs the crap kicked out of him and I personally would be glad to give it a shot. I dont care if she spit in the guys face that was not the way to react period. I dont even want to hear this guys excuse he should be charged with felony assault and charged accordingly not just fired.

I would love to sit down with a nice big bag of popcorn and a 20-ounce coke and watch as you repeat what you're saying here to the deputy's wife followed by his colleagues. Because I'm sure they'd be more than happy to hear that from you.

If you read lips as he is beating girl, he is saying Sally you b#@^%, Sally is his wifes name, and she has not given any Tang for breakfast or any of meal in quite sometime.

I'm reluctant to watch the video based on the comments, but I'm actually not that surprised by this. I used to work for a domestic violence agency, and I remember I was shocked at just how many batterers there are in law enforcement. Which was really frustrating, because we had to work so closely with them (although there were some really good guys too). I think that field draws the kind of domineering types who need to exert power through violent control like a moth to a flame. Probably much more so than the types who actually believe in justice and duty. And when you factor in stress and department attitudes and whatnot... not a good combination.

Holy Crap. I cannot believe that the very enforcers of the law are going to be so shallow, so LOW and beat up a girl. No one deserves a punch in the head or slam on the wall no matter how much the person thinks they "need" it. What truly disgusts me is that the Deputy Paul Schene*remember that name* had his friend Mr.CopX HELP! Why wouldn't he just stop the cop. And it was a miracle they didn't have tasers on them or she would have been seriously hurt. So this is what the world has come to. The bull the put on Television corrupting viewers daily. I think someone could find something wrong with the 700 club if the tried and cared enough. Punishment for this cop should be a minimum of 3 years. Instead, it is a MAXIMUM OF ONE YEAR!! This has got to stop.

The 15-yr-old girl has been TRAUMATIZED by her unfortunate encounter with au6th6or6ity, and her life just changed forever!

Possibly creating enough hatred in her heart to become as vocally against cops as some posters here, and understandably so. Childhood trauma can lead to a very ugly future for it's young victims, including PTSD, severe depression, mental instability, drug & alcohol addiction, and even suicide.

I will side with those who want justice against that shameful excuse of a police officer every time. I personally think anyone being arrested & transferred to jail, and processed & booked should be recorded on video the entire time, to ensure there's digital evidence for all to see, live.

WoW! Brown shirt mentallity in action. These type of criminals in uniform are very detrimental to the moral fiber of our nation.
What ya gonna do when WE come for you? Bad Cop Bad Cop. That Officer should be sitting in a cell right now. The County will be sued big time and the Sheriff should be recalled for aiding a criminal.

This girl completely had it coming to her, it's amazing to me that the officer had so much restraint! In fact I think this officer should be applauded for his professionalism and courtesy in handling such an obviously dangerous individual.

If a picture is worth a thousand words a video is worth a million. This guy is not not only out of line but out bounds. This little girl did not deserve this not matter what she said and the little shoe flick does not warrant the beat down of a little girl either.
