I have never heard of these types of "detox" programs before. Sounds like their hearts are in the right place, but will it have any turnout?

Some of the steps are:
•Finding common ground, "not fighting ground," with other faiths
•In the "Open society of Canada," how to reconcile "dogmatic idealism with pragmatic realism"
•Seeing the whole as one, and take into account "global challenges that affect us all."
•Actively countering extremist ideology through "education, public speaking and writing."

Sounds like their hearts are on the right place.

But AQ was a CIA pinup in the first place, I wonder if there is a hidden motive here too.

It reminds me of the "Gay Cure" campsyou get in Christian churches.

One of the things I was wondering is if there's the possibility of any kind of backlash towards the ones trying to stop the radicals? To kind of flex their muscles or a show of power to the youths that are in the program?
