What I meant is that *some* PCs like that (Compaq, Dell, Gateway, Emachines, etc...) are not even meant to have parts changed or upgraded. Hopefully, yours isn't one of thoses.

maybe thats the case morbid but ma friend has an emachine and he got a memory upgrade and it was pretty easy to change the #...

anyway if it doesnt fit ill use a hammer
