That sucks. There are A LOT of PPK's out there.

If I'm right in thinking these serial numbers run sequentially...

What's good about it? To protect yourself and your family from those wishing to do harm against you. If they didn't kill and injure, what good would they be?

From the point of view of a US citizen, why don't you mind your own business?

I'm so sick of foreigners trying to tell us what rights we do and don't have. Worst of all are those in the UK, who were more than happy to give up their guns and now get to enjoy being stabbed to death at alarming rates instead.

Surely more and more CCTV cameras instead of real options for self defense will save you... eventually... SURELY... right?

Do you really think that would help ? All it would do is make criminals alot safer when robbing and raping innocents with the help of their illegally owned guns c'mon now.

Not to mention how many S&Ws are out there PERIOD. They are a great firearms company, which has historically produced some absolutely amazing pieces of great quality.

I have no doubt however that they are taking the appropriate actions and precautions, as any responsible firearms manufacturer should and will admit to mistakes in production models. I am certain that it comes as no surprise to you that many manufacturers are extremely reluctant to ever acknowledge any design errors or mistakes.
