Just kidding, though I know at least two-thirds of you that opened this are salivating at the ready to post the angriest emoticon you can find along with your support, while the other third is ready to post links to prove me wrong.

Ahhhhh, the Internets.

Good times.

"Do straight, white men still have rights?"

Yeah ... there are too many to name those that come ahead of illegal immigrants... but yeah,

kinda,

sorta,

not really.

Great question though

Try and find a college grant for a straight white man.

Hey, I'm a straight, white man. What rights did I lose?

I still have the right to not spank my kids where anybody could possibly see me.
I still have the right to keep my hands off the secretary's can.
I still have the right to be properly ashamed of getting Workman's Comp and Unemployment.
I still have the right to dig hockey.
I still have the right to play Dungeons & Dragons.
I still have the right to dance like Carlton.

How racist do you want this thread to be? I can go on. Or is this your little social experiment?

Jeez man, what the hell is the point? What's your motivation?

Sadly, straight white men still have the right to whine and attempt to stir up online dramatics...

I'll see your flame and raise you a barf.

Enlightenment on the ATS is fun, no?

I mean I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much smarter than I was 5 minutes ago just based on this exchange.

Because gays have the rights they do, That means I as a ST8 white guy has the rights to my sexual preferences.

For EXAMPLE if i want to wear a diaper as a sexual preferences because the gays have there rights , I have the right to wear the diaper.

Anything wrong with that.

It actually gives ST8 white guys more rights.

some fool will take me literally.

Everybody has all the rights everybody else is willing to give them. If somebody decides you don't have certain rights, then you don't.

I have the right to. Alas, I haven't the talent.

What are you looking to inspire here, Screep? Just seeing what buttons you can push in your first day at ATS?

I think straight white mens rights are still the same but there does seem an open attempt to denigrate and malign them that is becoming more blatant.

I think straight white men should climb aboard the " I am Offended" bandwagon and stand up for their rights when they are being put down just as everyone else does these days.

If they want respect they have to stand up and demand it, as a female I can tell you that it's incredibly empowering to stand up for yourself.

LOL Back in the 70's when 'Women's Rights' were all the rage. Bra burning etc. ... I asked my Dad if he was going to stand up for his rights too by joining the Men's Rights Movement (or what ever they called it back then)... He whispered "Those guys are actually men that like other men".

Maybe some other kids got the wrong idea from it too. Obviously it's now called Gay Rights.

Oops sorry dad!

Point taken and I'm not going there.

Yeah, well , I wasn't exactly referring to extreme politicism but just in day to day life. If you don't stand up for yourself then you're a doormat.
There doesn't seem to be any middle ground sometimes.

And by the way, the femi nazis of the 70s were a scary bunch.

Thanks Flighty.

We'll take that into consideration when designing the next model of Equal Women.
