Pakistan to Arm Village Militias to Fight Terror

30,0000 guns are to be given out to Pakistani villagers/security forces to combat terror and radicals in Pakistan's outlying provinces. Great! I wonder how long it is going to take to come back and bite them. It will only be a matter of time until the weapons are used against the already destabilized Pakistani government and US coalition forces across the border in Afghanistan.

It Seems like they would be a little more intelligent about this seeing how easily the people of these territories have already been influenced so apparently easy by Taliban and al-Qaeda operatives in the area. Oh, we should not forget the recent allowing of Islamic law in the SWAT region. Is it not obvious to anyone else that these weapons could easily be put in the hands (or converted hands) of extremists that could attempt to overthrow the country with a working nuclear arsenal and tested delivery system?
