Problems with this video is this:

1) This didn't take place in South Africa , it took place in Zimbabwe which is next to South Africa ( South Africa being a country).
2) The strange looking woman who speaks says there is no TV therefore where would they have seen it. Southern Africa and Zimbabwe has had TV since the early 70s
3) This event took place in 1994 - one would think that if this had taken place 15 years ago - all these children would be adults now and would have spoken out about this event since.

I remember seeing that story long time ago, it certainly is perplexing. Children can be so innocent and naive though, also they can be pretty manipulating too. Still its a good watch.
