there's no "proof" only disagreement. just because the status quo agrees doesn't mean it's correct

You mean the other translators who had experience in translating? The archaeologists who have experience in archeology? And a whole load of other people?

You what Sitchin has in common with them? Nothing. His only higher education was economics.

He knew nothing of the culture, art works, language, ANYTHING. He made it all up.

besides it's the simplest most elegant theory. Occam's Razor kinda thing. I ties up all loose ends and explains very simply how this stuff was done. It makes waaay more sense that they somehow could do things we can't do today and they had more primitive tools. that's nonsense and the people who cling to it are theones who will have to admit they wasted their lives on bull#.

So Occam's razor is aliens?

No, that's called confirmation bias.

it's ok you just keep believing what you believe: that the ancients were masters at working massive stones with advanced civilization and then forgot it all and devolved into slobs. if that works for you then I'm happy for ya!

no Occam's razor would say an advanced race came here from somewhere else, kick started civilization, left their mark and then left.......... maybe

There were plenty of civilisations who made pyramids and other structures. The information wasn't "forgotten", it was simply updated and different approaches were used.

Why build a pyramid when you can build a multi story building?

Why use the original computer when there are so many advances since the original?

But that's not how Occam's razor works lol.

Occam's razor is the simplest answer.

Your answer is an alien race built a flying craft out of some pretty good materials, flew light years to get here, built a thing out of rocks and stone, then left.

My answe is that people built it because it's not that difficult. All the technology needed was already around. No need for special space ships and aliens.

but you're wrong because they couldn't do those things with stones that size. Even the Romans admitted to having a 450 ton max ability. the earlier more eroded stones are the largest so how do you figure even more primitive "bamboo technology" is the answer. you're living in a fantasy world. What you're saying implies there are no other advanced races out there and that's naïve.

Nice strawman. I never once said there were no advanced races out there. What I am saying is there is no evidence that they came here and built something out of stone. Zero. Zilch. Nada. None.

All you are going on is what Sitchin has said. The guy was a fraud. It's that simple.

his explanation explains what we see simple as that. you can say no in as many ways as you wish or cross your arms and stamp your little baby feet all you want. doesn't change the fact the locals couldn't do what we see by myriad forensic evidence all across the globe. that proves they are all talking about the same "gods" who were "coming down from heaven" flying around from place to place on their "celestial falcons" and using weapons like the "mountain melter" and using "tablets of destiny" to figure it all out. they were describing technology that they couldn't understand. your problem is a psychological one not an absence of evidence.

and p.s. I didn't say you said something you didn't I said what you were arguing "implies" so shove your strawman and use it on yourself for doing it to me. hahahaha you're a funny one. where did Harte go did he have an existential harte attack?

Well there is no evidence apart from what someone translated (who wasn't a translator).

If it is all true can you explain to me why "they" haven't been back? Why go through all the trouble to get here just to stack some stones then go and never be seen again? Surely after thousands of years they would want to check how their great stone buildings were doing?

I guarantee you I wouldn't do it justice but I can give you some advice for preparing yourself to wrap your head around this whole subject. Number one: jumping out a window is not the answer. Number two: don't quit your day job. and number three: what makes you think they left? The "aliens" I think about are the ones who made us in their images and I don't see them as perfect gods. I see them just as #ed up as we are although they have some great technology. I hope they feel some compassion for what they've created because it doesn't look like we have the collective ability to agree on anything and if you ask me that is all their fault. We were like pets to them (look at us today with AI and sex robots I mean wtf?) up until the time they kicked us out of Eden for becoming self-aware and asking them questions they might not have wanted to answer. At some point, after watching us almost get wiped out by a natural disaster they felt some guilt and kinship for us so they taught us civilization and unfortunately religion. Knowing themselves (or not knowing themselves) they figured we needed leaders and rulers so they selfishly divided us up into worship groups and made us fight each other seemingly for their amusement, which kinda goes against feeling some kinship or responsibility. They sure liked a good steak and wine and a buncha other vicelike activities such as rape, murder, conspiracy against one another so I don't expect much. I do hope they give us an energy paradigm upgrade (like they gave us agriculture and animal husbandry) so we can at least stop spoiling our biosphere or at least give us each a ufo so we can go wherever we want like to Saturn for a while. whatever man you can believe what you want but trying to wrap your head around their intentions is like my dog trying to figure out why I am tapping on this keyboard when I could be playing with him. his cognitive ability is unable to even go there just like us. Maybe the answer is simple and they feel so guilty seeing us as a reflection of themselves maybe as failures on the advanced being scale that they keep us at arm's length like a redheaded step child?

Or maybe the answer is simply that it's all made up by a guy who knew nothing about the subject he told everyone about?

I find it funny that you make all these claims, but you have shown zero proof for any of it.

I used to believe mainstream science too.

don't think you're going to make me doubt myself either because you guys are nuts. I'm told by the other guy I have "zero proof" (you guys LOVE to say that lol) and you don't even realize you're staring right at it. How ridiculously ignorant can you be?

So what proof are we "staring right at"?

And you don't believe in mainstream science?

Yet you're using a computer/laptop/tablet/phone was made using what? Witchcraft? No, science!

And you're on the Internet. Made by science.

Guess what charges them. Electricity. Another amazing thing brought to you by science.

So are you sure you don't believe mainstream science or you just don't believe the bits that mess up your story?

Sorry. I've been reading the old threads in this section. It's something i do when there's nothing new worth reading.

Speaking of Sitchin, his thesis is that humans were created by manipulating the DNA of existing Hominids for the purpose of mining gold here on Earth.

Here's a suggestion, take a look at the handful of ancient creation myths from the area. There are a few different ones, but they are quite similar. Read the reason(s) given for Man's creation in each one.

You'll find that Man was cr4eated to take over the work of the lesser gods, about which they were complaining at the time.

Once you read what they were complaining about, you'll be right in the middle of Sitchin's lie.

I can get you started here: link

so what? somebody other than the Romans made those stones in that form and it wasn't cavemen, so you fill in yer own blanks. the gist is still beyond what you types can comprehend that's why you get so desperate to prove a point like I used the wrong terminology. it's silly the way I engage with you. Guess I'm bored. my road's not completely dry yet to take out the Harley sooooo here I am lol.

anywhoo, getting back to Sitchin. Isn't it funny that the modern human dna goes back to the 7 haplotypes around 200K yrs ago and that's when he mentions the 7 "birth mothers" (surrogates) of the Adamu were producing little humans? isn't that something how he just made that number up before modern science discovered it was true?

I've got a bridge to sell you. The Sumerians just told me through deciphered text that it's mine to sell.

These blanks have been filled, whether or not you can accept it.
Excavations at the site show Roman construction down to the bedrock.

No, you have placed your own mindset beyond the gist. We're just trying to help you.

Both counts are erroneous, your claim of seven haplogroups and the claim of seven birth mothers.

I linked you to one creation myth - the others differ very little from it. Read anything about seven birth mothers there?

Regarding your haplotype claim, one researcher has claimed seven mitochondrial lines among Europeans, not among all humans. No doubt it is this your fevered brain has latched onto. Other researchers place that number (for Europeans) as high as 12 or more.
