Im not much of an astrology person, but this caught my interested!

A NEW kind of star may be lurking in the debris from a nearby supernova explosion. If confirmed, the "quark star" could offer fresh insights into the earliest moments of the universe.

This theory is mind blowing.

But I have some doubts regarding this, because, if the neutrons disintegrated into quarks, then over the period of time, the quark star will lose strength and drift off. So, how will it sustain itself?
