Open Letter to Jon Stewart

The following was written on the date it is dated. I just now got the computer it was written on and the internet together:

Open Letter to Jon Stewart, February 11, 2009

I have had a while now to think about what I caught of your show earlier… You had on a man, and if I caught it right, he seemed to be describing paying off the insurgents of the world to not insurge against us…

And given that a trillion Dollars, or the gods know how many more US Dollar units they have sitting and awaiting in the financial institutions, that are poised to flood the economy and devalue the Dollar…along with the fact that most of these “Dollars” are bailout dollars…while most of us struggle here…

Maybe this “friendly humanitarian,” all for “respecting” the insurgents and offering to pay anyone who insurges, is setting up the acceptance of the flooding of the world with US Dollars (which some of us have twenty-nine of a month, fixed), thus ushering in hyperinflation through worldwide distribution.

What this would do is cause disgruntlement in troups abroad, as their pay is not accepted as currency, or can buy virtually nothing, in which case they will demand more… And thus another war to allow more control, as well as profit.

Not at all a pretty sight.

I have to ask… Is this really any kind of solution? My guess is absolutely not.

I am hoping you grasp the implications I see.

Maybe it was the social scene I was watching your show in – you know, people talking in the room, some snippet of which might catch my attention – and I TOTALLY got the wrong picture, taking something WAY out of context. So if I misinterpreted, forgive me.

Still, my solutions bear consideration regardless.

Oh, and just so you know… I made clumsy efforts to let Stephen Colbert/Comedy Central read my book when I finished it – since he has a key role – but I saw that the elephant was very like a wall. So I chose to host it on this site.

It takes you to where you can click to get a PDF... At least it works on my computer.
