Lasheic...my emotions said the same thing....at first.

But....eight little babies? I'd prefer, in a perfect world, they stay together in a household who could care for them adequately.

My two dollars....

Not all Doctors are like that. I have run into very few in fact that are "bandits" come on lets not demonize the entire profession of M.D.'s because of a few. If you have ever seen the look on a good trauma specialist when you bring in a patient that is dieing you would not say such an ignorant statement.

Those good people will sweat blood for you.

Personally I would give a doctor some flowers and chocolate. Maybe a veggie tray.

The good news is... eventually we will all forget octomom, so I don't have to be repulsed by photos of her or her kids and think wtf is wrong with people these days anymore.

Can't wait until this story just fades away into obscurity.

OMG, when pressured about the house already being too small for the six kids, her publicist said that Octomom was, “going to buy a new house after the births.” At that time I was flabbergasted because she was on disability, and I pondered what she could afford on disability!?! Now it turns out she was in arrears, this was a scam to get rich. These are sick people, with no sense or shame.

End this disgusting tragedy and call Child Protective Services before the kids get hurt.

Unfortunately, runaway inflation of the USD means your two bucks is about a nickel's worth now.

I kid.

I understand your sentiment, and I agree that keeping them together would be the optimal and most human solution. I just don't know if it's practical for prospective adoptees or relatives, and keeping them together in an orphanage or some such isn't really in their best interest if they could be with a loving family.

I'm sure it's quite possible that some rich philanthropist with few heirs could adopt all eight and raise them as their own - but I just don't see it happening.

I seriously think this woman needs to be closely investigated.

On Fox *gasp* they have footage of her SHOPPING AT NORDSTROMS - while her house is in foreclosure, while she apparently is in hiding due to death threats, while she is receiving government aid, while she is accepting donations from the gullible public.

I'm outraged that she is not be investigated for fraud - because that is what she is doing - frauding the government and the gullible public.

All of those people who have payaled her money just sent her on a nice shopping spree!

EDIT: Since I just watched this on Fox News - and only had that as my source....I went and found some other sources: www.tmz.com...

"Paging Brad an Angelina, please come to the Octuplet aisle"

Even if the octuplets were adopted, this woman will still be raising the other 6 by herself on welfare. She has no intent of ever working again.

The title of her book will be "Farming with Babies for fun and Profit"

I am guessing these kids are going to have to play "Who's your Daddy?" as they grow up. I am starting to think that this woman has made up this man. "David Solomon" is the "Zenaida Gonzalez" of this story.

As for the octuplets, no father is listed on the birth certificates. Nadya Suleman signed all eight.

As for the other six kids, four of the docs have David Solomon listed as the dad. The other two have no father listed. All 14 kids have Solomon's last name.

BTW, on one of the docs, Solomon lists Israel as his "State of Birth." And on one of the certificates, David lists his birth date as 5/25/75. On another it's 6/25/73. And on another it's 5/25/73. And yet another 6/25/75. Dude can't keep track of his sperm or birthdays!

Can we all now agree that whatever comes out of this woman's mouth is more likely a lie than the truth?

I really believe that it may be time that DNA tests are done to establish who these kids father is. Maybe even the mother - she is capable of many things and is lost to the truth of anything.

Back in 2001 or 2002 and she was calling herself Nadya Solomon, at that time she claimed that it was the English version of Suleman. Then when she starts reproducing she creates a fictional David Solomon? Hmmm the plot sickens!

Also interesting is that the octuplets share a common middle name, Angel, and have "Nadya Suleman" as a mother. The other kids have "Natalie Suleman" in the mom field. Suleman and Solomon are such close names, it's got us wondering...

I want to, and realize it's likely going to cost me, but I MUST state an opinon.

Taking the focus off of the mother, for a moment....how about focusing on the fertility "doctor" who iniated this whole fiasco???

Sure, the woman was compliant, and sought out this 'doctor'....but, what kind of warped mind did this 'doctor' have to engage in the procedure????

As a rule, an interview might have indicated to this 'doctor' that this patient was not a good candidate for a fertility implant....I mean, she already had six children....right???

I say, throw the 'book' at this "doctor".....sue him for all he's worth, then use THAT money for the eight little babies......

Show me how THAT is wrong!

This woman may be a retarded liar, but I find it ironic how the public is so upset over this situation.

They claim that they feel scared or distraught for these infants, yet millions of children die everyday due to neglect, malnutrition and from parents who treat them like animals ?? Where is the public outrage, media frenzy and outpouring of sympathy and money for these children??

/rant off

This woman is obviously not capable of handling her finances. Does that make her a horrific mother? Probably not to the point of taking her children away, but enough to feel sorry for kids that will be raised by her.

Even if the system removes them from her and places them elsewhere, the money to care for them has to come from somewhere. Unless you can step up and say I will take all those babies and feed and cloth them myself, then I guess we have nothing to say really.

I do not sympathize or agree with anything she or the doctor have done here but I do not think taking the children away solves anything.

Ellipsis, keep ranting!!

What I find intersting is, as of yet, no 'Christian' bastion of 'faith' has yet to intrude into this discussion.

I'll say my piece, then bow out.....Humans are genarally, as the female uterus is designed, normally going to offer ONE child every nine months.

Sometimes, and this is not 'STUPID DESIGN", not intelligent design, it is NATURE....a very natural thing happens in the ovum....and twins (or more rarely) triplets may form, in the uterus.

'Fertility drugs', adminstered by a "DOCTOR" tyo a woman who already had six children....hmmmmm....focus like a laser beam should be on the DOCTOR!!!!

This woman, likely mentally ill, has what she has. Help her.

The 'Doctor''should have known better, even if the woman didn't.

Hard to know what else to say....I think it's obvious.....

There are numerous threads on this topic, and the doctor has been discussed and people have expressed their disgust over him. He is also being investigated for malpractice, etc.

I think its perfectly fine to show disgust for both individuals who chose this situation to occur.

Also, just because we show concern over these children does not mean we don't over others who are in *&^% situations. I can usually be found on any threads involving children

And I think the woman is a con artist. I don't think she is as mental as some would think. I mean, yes, she obviously has issues. But she knows darn well what she is doing IMO

I'd like to see ALL of these children cared for, in proper homes....the octuplets MUST be kept together, if possible....but I do not believe the birth mother has any rights, any more...UNLESS she can demonstrate a willingness and an ability to provide for, not to the octuplets, but to the other six children, as well.

I wasn't targeting anyone in particular, really haven't been following your posts sorry. I am sure there are people who care for all children.

I was feeling frustrated because the media and public are eating this up and showing outrage when she shops at Nordstroms, but when a child dies from abuse or neglect two blocks down from them they could care less. Good Lord NOO she bought some shoes her children will suffer now !!! I mean yeah its stupid and yeah it sucks, but it's not the worse thing ever.

Try this experiment. Ask a friend about a poor child who is dead or dying of disease in a third world country, then ask them about this woman. I can imagine most of us would see more reaction about the woman who had these babies then about the child.

I hope all of those that have been feeling sorry for Octo-Mom will be happy to see that Nadya Suleman Doud Gutierrez Solomon will be living pretty well from now on. What recession? Who cares about welfare? Breeding is the answer to all financial crises.

America sure loves a good scam artist - if you doubt it ask Madoff, Clark Rockefeller, llen Stanford and Nadya Suleman.

I think Joann Kileen resigned as OctoMom's publicist - never - Nadya is still being repped by someone. I think Joann Kileen just went covert waiting for the heat to blow over. Here we have Octo-Mom doing a high profile show for $$$$$

This is what Television cares about America's anger. Nothing.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! We've confirmed OctoMom Nadya Suleman is looking to buy a home listed for $1.24 MILLION!

Octo is there right now ... the house is in Whittier, California. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms and a pool with no safety gates. Perfect for 14 kids.

A real estate source tells TMZ the owner canceled showings today specifically because Octo wanted to see it. She needs it because the house she's living in now may be on its way to the auction block -- as in foreclosure.

UPDATE: 4:54 ET PM. We just called back our contact at Century 21, the agency that has listed the house. They claim Nadya is indeed an interested buyer. But here's the rub. We're told a big TV show has the house for the day and is there doing a sit-down interview with Nadya....
